Partnering with ApparelMagic and Endear, we hosted intimate dinners in New York City to explore innovative technologies and sustainable practices reshaping the fashion industry. We were able to build stronger relationships and a sense of community and learn directly from industry leaders about the challenges they're facing on their journey towards circularity. In this blog, we give you a peek into the insights from our conversations: https://lnkd.in/evb7skiM

There are 3 different buckets when it comes to Big Fashions' carbon emissions and how they're tracked. And there is one thing a lot of brands aren't disclosing... When calculating the carbon emissions of a brand, it's determined by: 1. Direct emissions generated by a company's owned and operated assets  2. Indirect emissions from a company's purchased energy resources (heating, cooling, electricity, etc.) 3. Everything else! By everything else, we mean the indirect emissions from across the supply chain, from consumer use of items to the lifetime of those items and more. What's shocking -- 'everything else' is at least 95% of a brand's total carbon footprint. This bucket is often forgotten when brands are revealing their carbon emission output. Read how the industry is shifting this behavior: https://lnkd.in/g4_rggky

Hot Take: Dance parties at 7:30 AM are elite 🔥 We know from experience! We hosted a workout class with Wolven yesterday to break a sweat, highlight Wolven Pre-loved, and connect with NYC brand leaders. After starting the day with a DanceBody class, brands joined us for a networking hour where we sipped on juices and discussed sustainability goals for 2024. Guests shopped an archival rack of Wolven Pre-loved, and one lucky raffle winner got a free workout set. In celebration of our partnership, Wolven is offering 15% off of their main and pre-loved sites until 6/20. It's always a joy to partner with Wolven, and thank you to Rothy's, Fleur du Mal, Veronica Beard, Bared Footwear, Live Welles, Stetson, and more for joining us on this early morning! #nycevent #nycfashion #sustainablebrand

🧐 There is no one resale program that fits all. 🧐 The brand, the customer base, and the brand's goals all factor in to what make a successful program. This is exactly why our solutions are stackable. In case you need a refresher, here are the paths of resale: ♻️ Off-Price: Sell off-price inventory like aged goods, returns, or samples on your dedicated resale site. ♻️ Peer-to-Peer: Your customers buy and sell from each other for cash or credit back to your brand. ♻️ Trade-In: Your customers can trade-in items for credit back to your brand. ♻️ Returns: Effortlessly reroute your returns to be resold on a Treet-powered site and turn your unsellables into profit. Last year, 8 Treet-powered brands pioneered the first-ever trade-in and peer-to-peer resale models. This dynamic combination enables each brand to cater to value-seeking and convenience-driven consumers alike, capturing a broader market spectrum. By embracing adaptable resale strategies, brands can tap into new revenue streams while fostering customer engagement and loyalty. Let's explore the possibilities of resale together! #brandedresale #ecommreturns #p2pmarketplace

Does your brand have a Buy/Sell/Trade Group? If so, you're missing out on a crucial aspect of your business. Learn first-hand from Rough & Tumble ⬇️ 🌟 When we asked R&T why they launched into resale with us, here's what they said: “The opportunity to regain ownership of a crucial piece of Rough & Tumble's community and provide a brand experience that aligns with the same experience customers expect on our own website, including communication, visuals, and policies, is a no-brainer.” Since launching, Rough & Tumble Pre-Loved has driven new customers and become a trusted part of the Rough & Tumble community. #customerstories #resale
