🎯 Exciting Milestone at Tsang and Associates! 🎯 We recently hosted our first-ever Guest Speaker Q&A session for our interns! Our two distinguished guest speakers were: Grace Huang, Program Lead at Rise Reporting, who shared insights on her nationwide social media news reporting program for college students, and Nurhan Elgamil, a recent graduate from American University Washington College of Law and former Legal Intern at Tsang and Associates, who discussed her inspiring journey from Legal Intern to Lawyer. This event was an incredible opportunity for our interns to learn from and network with accomplished professionals in the field. Grace Huang (@risereporting) provided valuable perspectives on leveraging social media for impactful news reporting in the digital age, while Nurhan Elgamil shared her personal experiences and challenges on the journey to becoming a lawyer. It’s amazing to see how far our firm has come! Just three years ago, our internship program was a quarter of its current size. Now, we have 20+ interns across several departments! Hosting an event like this, with alumni returning to share their journeys and insights, is a testament to our growth and commitment to fostering talent. We are especially proud to have Nurhan back with us, and we wish her the best of luck as she prepares to take the bar exam soon. Her journey from intern to lawyer is truly inspiring and a great example for our current interns. Goodbye, Office Library! Over the years, Joseph Tsang has collected a vast array of books that have profoundly shaped him and many others at our firm. These books have been an incredible formative influence. As we make space for a new section, we decided to give back in a meaningful way: we let all of our staff and interns choose any books they wanted from the library. That’s right—we gave them away! Today I am grateful for creative people. I had a wonderful dinner with the Marketing managers at Tsang & Associates, PLC, Gun Park, Olivia Zheng and Galen. Together, we've spent the last five years building our in house marketing department. I am so proud that I get to witness their growth and excellence. Our dinner coincided with our attendance of VidCon 2024, an annual conference for fellow YouTube creators. Lawyers can learn so much from the YouTube creator community. I stood in line next to a kid who was absolutely killing it on the platform. He was a natural marketer and branding genius. I was inspired by the many people who strive to be at the forefront of content creation, branding and influencing. Reflection: Industry professionals are often set in their ways, but the new age works differently. If you can't adjust or adapt, you will be obsolete. #vidcon2024

Last week, our media team and legal team wrapped our biggest project of the year. The 2024 AILA Conference, this year held at Chicago. The AILA Conference is THE conference in immigration law, offering unparalleled networking and learning opportunities. Tsang & Associates has a long history attending these conferences, but in 2020 Joseph Tsang presented a new challenge. The Task: Attend every immigration law session. Script concise recap videos. Publish videos on Youtube as a same-day report. Thanks to our team and a healthy dose of luck, we pulled it off. But producing 5-8 videos per day was not easy. As a result, our legal team and marketing produced 35 videos. (5-7 sessions per day) The following year Joseph said, “Let’s try this again.”- and we did. Here is our score board 2020 Virtual Conference- 35 AILA session recaps published within 2 weeks.  2021 Virtual Conference- 32 Videos (This time, we tried Chinese and Spanish videos too) 2022 NYC & LA- 31 Videos (Our first same-day travel vlogs)  2023 Florida- 28 Total Videos  2024 Chicago- 44 Total Videos Every year taught us something new and unexpected.- These challenges were absolutely worth it. It taught us about resilience, team work, and the value of challenging yourself. This spirit of challenge was passed down from our leadership at Tsang & Associates. Although she was in Shanghai when she made her introduction video, Joleen is now joining us in person at our office. She attends NYU Shanghai, majoring in interactive media and business.
