About us
Turner Duckworth are behind the brand identities for some of the world’s most iconic brands; Coca-Cola, Amazon, McDonald’s, Samsung and Levi’s - to name a few. It's almost impossible to go a day without experiencing our work. You'll find it onshelf, online, on-the-go, in home, out of home and sometimes in your pocket. We build brands that are approachable, charming and have genuine personality, ones that are easy to understand but also intriguing, ones that tell a story or make you think. We help brands to become utterly distinctive and deeply embedded in culture. We define strategies, visual identities, assets, and expressions for how brands behave in any channel, at any time, in any market. As brand partners with over 30 years of experience, we believe that whatever you make, make it like nothing else.

If you weren't able to tune to the AIGA Design Conference last week, catch the highlights of Andy Baron talk on designing with instinct below! 📣 #turnerduckworth #design #instinct
🗣️ One more highlight from last week's AIGA Design Conference: Branding with Instinct With Andy Baron, Executive Creative Director, Turner Duckworth In today’s influencer age, a designer’s innate creativity is tested more than ever before. The number of likes or comments on a new identity can sway opinion, a wealth of instantly accessible data causes gut reactions to be questioned, and the voice of the many overshadows the voice of the few. 🔸 But what does this mean for our ability to form our own honest opinions or stand out? 🔸 Has it caused us to silence those nagging feelings that tell us whether a design really is stirring emotions? 🔸 Or does it create new margins of opportunity in which to play? In today's vivid presentation, Andy argued that while strategy, logic, research, data, and analytics can make brands good, instinct and bravery can make them great. From the creation of the Amazon smile to removing the bubbles from Coca-Cola’s iconic identity, Andy took attendees on a colorful journey of instinct-led decisions in a plea for creatives and clients alike to protect their gut instincts. Leading with the belief that we want design to make people feel things on a visceral level that champions feelings, Andy highlighted: 🔸 People first 🔸 Design matters 🔸 Relinquish control Quote: "To a non-creative person, the creative process looks a bit like a bird building a nest...The unpredictability of their movements seems random...and then, suddenly, it's done: a thing of beauty, a natural wonder of mechanical engineering that holds up against the wind, rain, and predators." —Joanne Chan CEO, Turner Duckworth 👏 Thank you, Andy, for your eye-catching and thoughtful presentation at #AIGADesignConf! 🗯 What are some successful branding campaigns that stand out to you?
