🏷 Member Special Offer: .design You may have heard that AIGA members can receive a free .design email and website domain for one year. Now, let's meet an AIGA Design member who has taken her creative and leadership portfolios in an exciting direction through .design-branded domains. 👤 Frances Yllana 🪪 Member of AIGA Global/National "I'm a design and organizational operations leader, writer, and facilitator who empowers and champions people to succeed beyond their own expectations. I am energized by driving inspiration and positive change in the world, including serving communities like AIGA through the National Board, Presidents Council Chair, Design for Democracy, and others. My portfolio began as francesyllana.com over 13 years ago. My love of community work evolved and was channeled into https://lnkd.in/gHnSUrus, [the URL was a giveaway at an AIGA conference]. As I grew in my leadership, I started leadteachempower.design, which was a natural extension of my portfolio. Two years ago, I added francesyllana.design to replace the .com one for a more intentional collection that reflects how I've 'grown up' in the industry. And the three portfolios together really represent who I am and my purpose. The three .design sites cement my deeply ingrained identity as a designer in each ecosystem and provide unity as I grow inward, outward, and forward." Click through the carousel to get a taste of Frances' diverse work across her three domains. 💖 Bravo, Frances! We enjoy your colorful, kinetic design work and applaud your inspirational leadership and civic involvement! 👏 Have a nice comment about Frances' sites? 🌐 Set up a .design domain through Porkbun at https://lnkd.in/e2QGbWMh

🎓 Introducing certified AIGA Professional Designer: Danielle Silver 🎨 Graphic Designer and Illustrator 🪪 Member of AIGA Cleveland "Hi! I'm Danielle – a passionate graphic designer and illustrator based in Cleveland, Ohio, fueled by creativity, empathy, and a mission to make a positive impact through design. My passion led me to pursue a dual major in Communication Design and Art Therapy at Miami University, deepening my understanding of human emotions and their connection to visual communication—allowing me to merge creativity with purpose to positively impact others' lives. As a recent graduate as of May 2024, embarking on a career as a graphic designer and illustrator, I'm deeply committed to staying at the forefront of design trends and continuously expanding my skill set. Pursuing the AIGA Professional Design Certification aligns perfectly with this goal. Whether through certification programs or tutorials, I'm always eager to learn from others and strive to reach my fullest potential in the field of design. Since joining AIGA in January 2022, I have loved being part of the community of designers within it. It has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm excited to continue learning and growing alongside fellow designers who share my passion for creativity and making a positive impact through design." 🙌 Congratulations on your achievement, Danielle! 💖 We love your playful yet elegant branding and package design; we found it very charming! 🗣️ Have a nice comment for Danielle?
