FREE Bilingual Dual Enrollment Toolkit for students and families! Cause IMPACTS is proud to have partnered with United Way of Greater Los Angeles as part of their Community College Success Initiative to develop a first-of-its-kind Dual Enrollment Toolkit for students and families! For many students, dual enrollment can be a game-changer, allowing them to earn college credits while still in high school—but too often, access is limited by lack of awareness, confusing processes, and systemic barriers. This toolkit was designed to provide clear, accessible guidance so more students—especially those historically excluded from higher education pathways—can take advantage of this opportunity. We are incredibly grateful to United Way of Greater Los Angeles for their leadership in expanding equitable access to college. We also appreciate the organizations that partnered with us to develop the toolkit by sharing their expertise and advising us on what to include. Thank you EdTrust-West, Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, Long Beach City College, Long Beach Unified School District, Public Advocates, Campaign for College Opportunity, and UNITE-LA. Together, we’re equipping students and families with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently navigate their educational journey. The toolkit, available in English and Spanish, can be downloaded here: https://lnkd.in/dDaymjr3 #CollegeSuccess #CommunityCollege #DualEnrollmentWeek #Edequity

We recently launched the second year of the Mentorship Program! Over the next five months, mentors and mentees will connect, learn, and grow—setting career goals, gaining professional skills, and building confidence. As one Los Angeles Trade Technical College student shared, “It is awesome to have this opportunity to get guidance from all these professionals. They share tips, tricks, and different strategies. The diverse backgrounds from different professional fields make it all come together.” We thank Bank of America, EY, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Black & Veatch, KPMG US, SoCalGas and U.S. Bank for their support of the Mentorship Program.
