To help patients who have trouble accessing traditional healthcare facilities to receive the care they need, #UVAHealth has launched its Mobile Care service to bring care directly to communities. This service is designed to help patients in multiple ways: - Patients without a regular care provider can receive initial health care from the Mobile Care team and then receive assistance establishing care at a brick-and-mortar outpatient clinic. - Patients needing non-emergent care and cannot wait for an appointment with their regular care provider can speak to the Mobile Care team directly. - Patients who do not wish to establish care in one of our brick-and-mortar outpatient clinics can choose to have UVA Health Mobile Care serve as their primary care provider.
