    While everyone is using LinkedIn and email to find connections, you should be thinking bigger.     Building the data enrichment platform for GTM teams

    Are you a founder struggling with cold outbound efforts that just don't convert? Here's the secret most early-stage startups miss: Don’t start with strangers 👀. Picture your network as a series of concentric circles expanding outward. Tap into each one sequentially for maximum impact: 1/ Start with those you know who could be a customer - friends, former colleagues, peers. Try land them first. 2/ Then ask them for introductions and referrals. These second-degree connections are more likely to trust you. 3/ As you start to get early customers & investors, leverage them for referrals. Keep doing this to build your initial case studies & brand recognition that you can utilize to bolster your cold outbound. Your warm intro pool will start to diminish so you need to develop this muscle. Cold outbound is still valuable at the very early stage to test different value props & messaging with your audience - but know that without social proof you’re far less likely to get a response. View cold outbound as a complementary strategy to the warm intros from your network - not one or the other. Need help identifying your concentric circles?
