And you can do all of this too, with just a few hours a week. If that sounds like something you’d love to be part of, connect with us via the link in the comment section below! • Two of our volunteers are helping our partner reach the right audience the right way. Dream A Dream is a non-profit, helping children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds overcome challenges and thrive. Their mission is all about giving these people the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed in life. They have gathered tons of insights on education and life skills over the years. But the problem is, their research is stuck in long, complex reports, making it hard for their audience to understand and connect with them. Without an easy way to present the information, it’s tough to get the message across. And that’s where our skilled volunteers Tejas Mane and Simranjyot Kaur step in. They’re transforming these reports into easy-to-read, blog-style content, using infographics and visual storytelling to make complex data accessible to all. By the end of the project, Dream A Dream will have a research hub that’s not just informative, but also engaging- helping their insights reach the right people, the right way! We recently held a session on something we hear most of our nonprofit partners struggle with - crafting a winning CSR pitch. To make it as practical as possible, we brought in experts from both sides of the table: CSR decision-makers and nonprofit leaders. In this session, we covered: >> The key elements that CSR teams are really looking for in proposals. >> What nonprofit leaders have learned from their own pitching experiences- what works and what doesn’t. >> A simple actionable framework to help you craft a pitch deck that actually resonates. We had 150+ nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs join us for the session, and the conversation was productive, to say the least. But that’s not all, we’ll soon be diving into 'Donor Retention' in our next session. Securing a CSR partner is just the beginning, but how do you keep them engaged long-term? We’ll answer that and more! If you want to be part of it and stay in the loop- simply sign up using the link below, and we'll keep you in the know for updates and access to future events and resources! #WeDoGood #Impact #CSR #Donors #Funds #NonProfits #NGOs Chinmay R. • Turns out, your HR skills could help an NGO reach even more kids in underserved communities with the education they deserve! Meet Anubhuti Organisation, a non-profit helping underprivileged children access quality education. They aim to break down barriers to learning so these children can build a better future for themselves. Creating an effective onboarding plan, however, has been a bit of a challenge for them. In a dynamic environment like a nonprofit, time really makes all the difference. Without a clear process, new hires take longer to settle in, which slows their rhythm. Streamlining this process could make all the difference! And that’s exactly where our volunteers, Kreena Shah and Susanne Fernandes Gupta, come in. They are designing a thorough onboarding framework, covering everything from the first 90 days to role-specific training plans. The framework will help new hires get familiar with the organization, its policies, and the team- ensuring they feel confident and ready to make an impact from day one. With these structures, the employees will be spending less time adjusting and more time enabling impact. Are you also interested in being a part of projects like these? In our conversations with our nonprofit partners, one challenge keeps coming up- cracking a CSR pitch. What do corporates actually look for? What makes a proposal stand out? Where are nonprofits going wrong? We know these questions don’t have easy answers, so we’re bringing in experts who’ve been on both sides of the table to break it down: >> Kishore Kumar Thangavelu, CSR Lead at Microsoft India, will share what CSR leaders really expect from nonprofit proposals- what stands out, what falls flat, and how to align your pitch with their expectations. >> Ajit Sivaram, Co-founder of U&I, has been building a nonprofit for 14+ years. He’ll walk you through what’s worked (and what hasn’t) when it comes to CSR pitching. >> Chinmay R., Consultant & WeDoGood Volunteer, will take you through a structured approach to building an effective pitch deck- what to include, how to present impact, and the key elements that matter most. Join us on 23rd Jan at 3 PM and take away a pitch that counts! Simply register using the link in the comments. #CSR #Funding #Impact #Cause #CSRPitch #Strategy #WeDoGood

  • Your data management skills can help a non-profit get things running faster. That’s exactly what our two pro bono consultants- Purva L. and Santanak Datta, are helping Aikarthya.India with. Aikarthya is a non profit that’s on a mission to empower teachers and transform education in underserved communities, believing that investing in teachers today will create a better future for children who need it most. But right now, they’re dealing with a challenge that’s all too familiar to nonprofits- their current systems for managing and tracking volunteer and teacher development data are manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. This can slow down things and takes focus away from their vision. This is where Purva and Santanak are stepping in. With their expertise, they are helping Aikarthya set up a simple, user-friendly platform that streamlines data management. With everything in one place, it’ll be faster, more organized, and less error-prone. By automating tasks and creating interactive dashboards, they’re giving them more time to focus on what matters most. If you have skills like these and want to help a non-profit work more efficiently, simply show interest using the link in comments #Skills #Impact #ProBono #DataManagement #Volunteer #Consulting
