We are delighted to announce that Crown Place, Birmingham, will open its doors early next year, adding 814 high-quality student beds to Yugo’s UK portfolio! This milestone project, developed in partnership with Crown Student Living and Corvette Capital, marks a significant step toward Yugo’s global goal of managing 500,000 student beds. With this addition, Yugo leads its way to manage 40,000 beds in the UK, reinforcing our position as the largest student operator in Europe and strengthening our presence in Birmingham, one of the UK’s key student hubs. 📍Located on Lancaster Street in the heart of Birmingham, students will be just minutes from the University of Birmingham, Aston University, and Birmingham City University. 🏡Crown Place offers 572 modern studios and 128 ensuite rooms, giving students the flexibility to choose between private and shared living spaces. Select rooms feature social lounges and TV rooms, creating a comfortable space to unwind and connect with friends.   Students can also enjoy a fully equipped gym, a karaoke room, a cinema, a retro gaming room and private dining spaces. Here at Yugo, we know that student life can sometimes be tough. Balancing studies, work, and life away from home isn’t easy, and that’s why we’re proud to partner with Chasing the Stigma to help our students and teams get the support they need when they need it. Through this partnership, we’ll be bringing the #HubOfHope, the UK’s largest mental health support directory, directly to our Yugo community alongside our team of professionally trained mental health first aiders. With over 14,500 local, national, and peer support services in one place, finding help will be just a few clicks away. But it’s not just about providing resources. It’s about making mental health conversations normal. Through the Ambassador of Hope training, our team and students will feel more confident talking about mental health and supporting each other without fear or judgment. Most importantly, this partnership will help us better understand the mental health needs of our students so we can continue to improve the support we offer. We’re thrilled to announce Yugo’s continued expansion in Poland! This September, we’ll begin operating SHED Sky Living and SHED Campus Living in Warsaw, in partnership with 1 Asset Management. These spaces will add 1,100 student beds, bringing our total portfolio in Poland to over 1,800 beds!    This agreement forms part of Yugo's third-party management approach, working with reputable partners to explore new markets and unlock enhanced student experiences.    🏙️ SHED Sky Living transforms a former bank HQ in Ochota, placing students near the Medical University of Warsaw and Warsaw University. 🏡 SHED Campus Living is a purpose-built residence in Mokotów, within walking distance of the University of Warsaw’s Służew campus and Lazarski University.   Both spaces feature top-tier amenities, including expansive study areas, gaming zones, cinema rooms, gyms, fully equipped kitchens, and laundries - plus stunning city views and easy access to central Warsaw.   We can’t wait to welcome students to these exciting new communities! Set to open for the 2025/2026 academic year, this incredible building boasts 416 beds and is packed with character. Imagine common areas integrated into the nave of an old church - talk about unique charm! 🏡 Located in the city center and just 5 minutes from the University of Padova main campus, this space will offer spacious common areas and beautiful outdoor oases, creating a perfect blend of history and modern comfort.
