We can all agree, every firm has great people, but what makes your firm exceptional beyond individuals? At Onward Recruiting, we're passionate about understanding what truly sets a law firm apart. According to the article [https://bit.ly/3RvW5Mh] referenced in this post from NALSC: the National Association of Legal Search Consultants, 'From the perspective of both buyers and talent, undifferentiated firms are indistinguishable from one another.' Our approach delves deeper than surface-level descriptors. We aim to uncover what makes your firm exceptional, helping candidates see beyond the well-known to understand what sets your culture, values, and opportunities apart. Some factors that may influence how a firm is viewed include: - Specialization and Expertise - Culture and Work Environment - Career Development - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives - Alternative Work Arrangements, such as Reduced Hours and Remote Flexibility - Business Development Support and Origination Credit for Non-Partners - Active Assistance Transitioning In-House to a Client - Strong Alumni Program Firms and candidates, what do you believe sets a law firm apart? #LegalRecruitment #LegalTalent #ExceptionalLawFirms #OnwardRecruiting

I once interned for a judge who had a coffee mug that had “Everybody Lies” printed in bold black font on its side. The judge never brought the mug into the courthouse when we were on trial, but during motion days when just lawyers were in the courtroom, the judge liked to bring the mug with him, perhaps to ensure that the attorneys in the courtroom were as candid as possible. Most lawyers would not be surprised to hear that clients are sometimes less than truthful with their lawyers. This can make it difficult for lawyers to do their jobs, and although attorneys should generally trust what a client says, they should do everything they can to make sure that statements made by clients are accurate. . . . #clients #clientcommunication #accuracy #forward #lawstudents #recentgraduates #etiquette #communications #hardskills #clientcommunications #legalcareer #careergrowth #resume #hiring #lawfirms #atlantalawyer #legalrecruiting #AtlantaLegalRecruiters #theRMNagency #legalrecruitingfirm #legalrecruiter #legalrecruiters #legalsearch #atlantalegalrecruiters #atlantalawfirms #biglaw #smalllawfirm #inhousecounsel #associate #partner

Very interesting 'findings', but I wonder if this reflects reality on the ground? The vast majority of Law Grads go to Law Firms, while in-house roles are rarely offered to Lawyers with less than 3 years PQE. So when you combine all those with 1-5 years PQE and compare them as groups, is this 'finding' actually comparing Law Firm Lawyers with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 years PQE (of which there are more at the lower end), against in-house Lawyers with 3, 4, 5, years PQE (of which there are more at the higher end)? #lawfirmjobs #lawjobs #legaljobs #legalcareers #lawfirmlife
