What sunscreen looks like when exposed to ultraviolet light.
Even if you wash your face, sunscreen stays on your skin and increases your chances of getting cancer.

Great to see there is an Australian Government Senate Enquiry into diagnosis and treatment of individuals with rare and less common cancers and the many submission made. The public hearing is tomorrow. While some of the individual patient stories make for difficult reading, and I am sure difficult telling, I thank these people for sharing the truth. It is only by telling these stories that we can bring to life the devastating impact these cancers have and how we must do everything we can to change the prognosis.
I was also encouraged to see so many of the submissions bring to life the vast impact Cancer Genomic Profiling (CGP) is having on cancer patient outcomes and as a result many of the submissions are calling for early access to CGP in a cancer diagnosis and for this test to become standard of care in Australia.
Every year many promising new cancer treatments are emerging and many of these therapies are molecularly targeted. CGP provides a way to maximize identification of these matches and is the future of precision medicine in cancer. While we may not have a treatment for every type of cancer, we do have many already available. And the technology is ready now, today, to find the patient that matches these treatments. Let’s use it as every life counts!

This Video Chronicles My Decisive New Approach To Pancreatic Cancer
Next month I will be living with Pancreatic cancer for 4-years. To get to this point, I have endured a Distal Pancreatectomy in October 23, 2020, which removed 40% of my Pancreas, my entire Spleen, 8 lymph nodes; 6-months of the chemotherapy Gemsar from January - June 2021; 1- year on the blood thinner Eliquis to rid blood clots in both lungs (due to chemo and the cancer); had 33-months with "no detectable cancer"; had an Ablation of a small tumor in the left upper segment of my liver in June 2023; and recently had an Ablation of a small recurrence of the liver tumor and a Cryoablation of a new small metastatic tumor in my Abdominal wall in May 2024.
In all that time, I thought I could co-exist with any remaining cancer cells that might be swimming around in my blood stream. I referred to it as "My Journey with Pancreatic Cancer," "My Battle with Pancreatic Cancer."
The 17-day trip I recently made to my home in Santa Fe surprisingly gave my Spirit the opportunity to present a TOTALLY NEW SHIFT IN MY THINKING.
In the quiet, in the beauty of this town of magnificent high desert splendor and magical skies, steeped in a history of being established in the 1600's, the wisdom of my own spirit and the voices of the prior generations were called forth.
The trauma, FEAR, and confusion of the last 4 -years in the medical establishment in Los Angeles were swept away and, clear as a bell, I heard this message:
"YOU MUST WAGE A WAR AGAINST ANY REMAINING CANCER CELLS IN YOUR BODY and CLAIM YOUR DIVINE RIGHT TO A LONG HEALTHY LIFE!"
I hope you will listen closely to this video. It may change your own relationship with cancer and how you approach it.

Reclaiming Your True Identity
As a person living with cancer, the longer you are in the “medical system,” the more likelihood you will become drawn into the vortex of seeing yourself only with CANCER as your main identity.
There is a great likelihood you will forget who you were BEFORE cancer.
This can be very dangerous in terms of your clinical outcome.
Psychologically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually you might become reduced to a fraction of who you really are.
Your clinical diagnosis becomes the center of attention - the focus is on your body, only your body.
Your WHOLE personhood gets shrunk.
Your personal power, your energy, your vitality, your resilience, your ability to fight, to recover, to rebuild your immune system and effectiveness of your Killer T cells become subdued and diminished.
0ver time, you may begin to dread yet focus on the results of your surveillance tests: the MRI, the CT scan, the cancer marker blood tests, the visits to your oncologist and other doctors.
Those results may begin to determine your mood, your outlook, your planning, your reaction to life.
You fall into the routine of medical appointments in your calendar taking center focus. All the attention goes to “What’s Happening with My Cancer?”
When this happens month after month, year after year, you begin to forget who you really are and always were - the YOU before cancer.
I firmly believe this phenomenon results in diminishing your ability to rid cancer from your body.
Unconsciously, you become the “helpless victim who is overcome by the powerful CANCER.”
I want to encourage every person living with cancer to evaluate if this is happening to you.
I will guide you through some steps to remember the Larger Picture of Who You Really Are:
1. What was your personality like before you were diagnosed with cancer?
2. What was your life like before cancer?
3. How did you handle challenges?
4. What were your strengths?
5. What gave your life meaning?
6. What activities did you enjoy?
7. What were you like as a child? A teenager? A young adult?
8. What qualities did you have that your loved ones admired, liked, complimented about you?
9. What was special and unique about you?
10. What gave you joy? Happiness? A sense of accomplishment? Satisfaction? Inner peace?
Hopefully this exercise will help you remember the Larger You and you can begin taking back your personal power, resilience, joy, and ability to rid cancer from your body.
I send you my Love and my Support. I Believe in YOUR PERSONAL POWER and your ability to regain it.

Passed Pre-Op Check For Second Liver Ablation
For the last nearly 4 years I have been sharing my journey with Pancreatic Cancer.
You have seen videos and posts about the day of my Distal Pancreatectomy for Stage 1 Pancreatic cancer surgery on October 23, 2020.
You have seen me going through 5 months of chemotherapy from January 4, 2021 - June 2021.
I took you to the Pulmonary Lab when I was being treated for blood clots in both lungs at the completion of chemotherapy. I was on Eliquis for a year to clear my lungs.
You saw me being free of any tumors for 33 months.
New videos showed when I had a metastasis of the Pancreatic cancer that landed in my Liver and was treated by an Interventional Radiologist performing an Ablation of that tumor in June 2023.
You have seen me as I struggled with FEAR for 4 months from January 2024 to March 2024. This FEAR was compounded by an "upward trend" in my CA19-9 Pancreatic tumor marker and awaiting the results of a PET/CT scan.
Today you will see the latest development.
The bottom line I want to share is that once you have developed Stage 4 of any type of cancer, there will be many sleepless nights, many scans and tests, many challenges to the concept "Who Am I? And What Is Going To Happen to Me?"
For my part, I walk closely with God, I assemble an excellent medical team, I have frequent scans and blood tests. But more than anything, what gives me JOY is following the "Anti-Cancer" Recovery Plan that I have developed and share on my website:
https://lnkd.in/gw6VExW5
Following and embracing this program, I remain in excellent health of body, mind, emotions and spirit. When I have a recurrence, it is LOCALIZED.
Since this is the only treatment I am on, my organs remain healthy and fully functional. The only medicine I am on is CREON - a Pancreatic Enzyme Replacement pill. I am strong and robust; able to run up and down the steepest hills in Santa Monica with weights on my wrists. I am a foodie who loves to eat and prepare healthy "anti-cancer" meals and snacks.
I invite you to join me today and on my website.
HARNESSING YOUR BODY, MIND, EMOTIONS AND SPIRIT will ENHANCE YOUR TREATMENT OUTCOMES.
My love and blessings to you.
