My boss pitched the idea of creating vlogging content from the company's perspective. The reasoning is that most corporate videos are too corporatey, if that makes any sense, lol. I took the idea and ran with it, helping coordinate our team's donation to a local food pantry. It was a lot of fun. According to HubSpot in a 2024 Instagram report, 35% of the content that brands post is content that reflects your brand's values. According to Hootsuite's Social Media Trends 2025 report, nearly half of all brands post 61% to 100% content to entertain, educate, or inform without directly promoting their organization, products, or services. The data is there to take the risk and do some creative content. No one is perfect, and you can quickly tell I'm not the best at it, but give it a shot and see what happens. #SocialMedia #SocialMediaTrends #CreativeMarketing #DigitalMarketing

Piscataquis Regional Food Center Adjusts Service Area to Focus on Core Communities Starting January 1, 2025, the Piscataquis Regional Food Center (PRFC) will focus its marketplace services exclusively on residents of Piscataquis County and the Dover-Foxcroft community. This adjustment, though difficult, ensures PRFC can continue to provide quality support to those most in need within their core service area. In 2025, residents of Dover-Foxcroft, Atkinson, and Bowerbank will be invited to shop at the Food Center marketplace twice monthly. All other residents of Piscataquis County will be invited to shop once per month. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gik-vjwi

10 years ago, "Craft" was all about being different from big beer and clearly, the battle was in the Specialty segment which was "marginal". I mean.... was there a big guy brewing a Gose or an IPA really? In 2024 and going forward, "Craft" is first and foremost a mindset and brewing lagers, even American Light Lager is absolutely fine. And really that is going to change the game a lot as both will now fight in the central arena looking for consumer's attention. Here is Montucky. A beer from Montana, named after Montana backwood and rural side nickname. Tagline: Cold Snack. Giving 8% of profit to local charities. Great taste, cool design, priced between Busch and Bud. This year it made it in the 50 largest craft by volume and is available in 32 states. Oh and GALLO (Wine & Spirit) just made a strategic investment in Montucky, adding fuel to the fire! So we have more Wine & Spirit companies with a leg in the beer world, while the beer world is all about beyond beer. More fusions ahead!

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Jared and Miki and ask them some questions. Here's how the conversation went. What made you want to work with Hope House’s Better Food Co Project? At Crafty Ramen, our purpose is to craft meaningful connections, so that together we can create a difference in the communities we serve. We wanted to work with Hope House’s Better Food Co Project, because of their important work and connection in a community that gives us our purpose. Hope House brings so much support to the community we love and we want to help in any way that we can. What does a community food system look like to you? We believe everyone should have access to quality, healthy meals. For us, a community food system is a way to connect communities through good food, and for those fortunate with more than enough to share with those that may not have enough. We created this project to share healthy food with low-income families. Why is that important? For us food is about more than sustenance—it is a way to show people we care about them and that they are valued. To provide quality food to those in communities that may not have access to it is our way of showing them that they are valued and perhaps even provide a little hope. We’ve all needed a helping hand at some point in our lives, and with this project we can pay that back and extend a hand to those that need it today. What excites you most about sharing this meal with our community? To us, ramen is the ultimate comfort food, so sharing our ramen with this community is our way of giving them a big hug and saying we care.
