The work within Lantmännen’s program for innovation – The Greenhouse – has recently put its first major phase behind it. “We have had three intensive days where the participants have been able to take part in and share Lantmännen's and their own business contexts, and it has been clear what strength there is in close collaboration when aiming to create maximum value from the startup companies' innovations,” says Nina Tuomikangas, Program Manager for the Greenhouse, Lantmännen R&D. 🎉 Talent Garden Italy has been partnering with the innovative startup, ReLearn, aiming for a #ZeroWaste community. 🌍♻️ In 2023, we achieved some incredible results that I'm happy to share about our sustainability efforts in collaboration with ReLearn, a cool startup from our Ecosystem that is dedicated to guiding companies toward a zero-waste future. How did we do that, you might wonder? With ReLearn's IT sensors - Nando - that can track what kind of waste is thrown in every bin thanks to AI. Since we love to be customer zeros for the solutions our startups bring to the market, we decided to adopt these sensors in every campus we have in Italy in 2023. Together, we're making a real impact on the environment and transforming the way we approach waste in our Italian campuses. Here's a snapshot of our achievements:🌱 • We recycled a whopping 481 KG of waste in just some dedicated areas where we tested the service! 🔄 • We saved 1275 KG of CO2! 🌬️ • We improved the waste sorting rate by 55% ♻️ None of this would have been possible without the commitment of our incredible community. With over 4039 interactions with dedicated educational touchpoints, it's clear that our members are passionate about shaping a sustainable environment where they can connect and create business opportunities with ethics and respect for the planet. 🚀 A huge shoutout to all our members and ReLearn who contributed to these achievements.
