At Computacenter we're more than just a workplace — we're a global connected community where our people collaborate and grow together. Discover Davyd's experience on connecting with different cultures... From the beginning of his apprenticeship, Davyd, who is based in Germany, showed an interest in our international presence, so while preparing for his vacation to Japan he suggested to his trainer and his line manager that he visit our office in Tokyo. Recognising the valuable experience this would offer, both agreed and supported Davyd's initiative. While exploring the vibrant city of Tokyo Davyd took the opportunity to take in not only the sights and sounds but to meet with his colleagues, build lasting connections, and learn more about our business in Japan and the local culture. Thank you to our team in Japan for making Davyd's visit a highlight of his trip. #WinningTogether #PeopleMatter #GlobalCommunity

3 months into my Baltic Journey! 🎉 As it is my last day in the office before I go on my Christmas annual leave, I thought it best I reflect and share my first quarter learnings. ✅ Mastering the Consultative Sales Approach I’ve developed a sharper focus on attention to detail and truly understanding client pain points. It’s not about just selling but providing solutions that create value - an approach that has already delivered results. ✅ Thriving in Office Dynamics Being part of the Acquisitions Team has been both challenging and rewarding. Collaborating closely with the wider Sales, Recruitment, and Account Management teams has given me a greater appreciation for how collective effort drives success. ✅ Leveraging My Personal Skills I’ve brought my competitive edge and resilience to the role, pushing myself to meet (and exceed) company targets. My positive mindset has not only kept me motivated but also helped build an upbeat and supportive environment - whether it’s on calls or within the team. Once again I must thank everyone at Baltic Apprenticeships for making these first 3 months so enjoyable and welcoming! This first chapter has been incredibly rewarding, but I’m far from done. I’m looking forward to returning after Christmas to continue building on this success by growing, learning, and setting new personal bests. Merry Christmas and see you all in 2025! #Christmas #RestandRecovery #Break

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 💪 Consultants at TAG looking to advance their careers can take the next step as team managers, starting with an apprenticeship, a one-year period in which they can try out the responsibilities of a team manager on the job. What are those responsibilities? Our team managers support consultants on their projects, but also help TAG grow as whole by strengthening the recruitment team and spotting sales opportunities. Consultant Lies van den Broeck started the apprenticeship this year: “I love people management but was unsure whether other responsibilities would appeal to me. The great thing about the apprenticeship is that it gradually introduces you to the different facets of the role and that you can assess for yourself after a year whether you want to take it up.” Throughout the apprenticeship, she is coached by team managers such as Martin Camerman: “I did the apprenticeship last year, so I fully understand the questions or doubts you can have. I’m glad I can share my experience and help others grow into the role.” By the end of this year, apprentices like Lies will be fully prepared to support their colleagues as team managers. 🤝 #TAG #Consultancy #ProjectManager #BusinessStrategy #TeamManager #Training #Recruitment #Sales

Congratulations to Alex Mordini on completing CME's NEXT Pro Program! Alex successfully participated in CME's Rotational Internship Program, gaining invaluable experience across multiple departments, including Sales, Supply Chain, and Human Resources. Over the course of 12 months, Alex developed practical skills, contributed to key projects, and gained a deep understanding of CME’s vertically integrated business model. Through hands-on training, mentor guidance, and end-of-rotation presentations, Alex provided thoughtful recommendations to improve workflows and operations. This experience not only strengthened Alex’s professional skillset but also solidified his understanding of cross-departmental collaboration, preparing him for future success in the industry. Read more about Alex's experience: "The program was a great learning experience that truly expanded my knowledge and skills in a professional environment. Specifically, it helped me understand the company as a whole, the products we sell, and the industry we operate in. I gained insight into how CME functions and how various departments interact. Experiencing how questions and issues are approached from different perspectives across departments was incredibly valuable to my overall understanding of the company. Additionally, I had the opportunity to learn about our products, how they are manufactured, and the differences in product offerings between our sales teams. As I prepare to settle into a more permanent role at CME, I feel reassured by the connections I’ve made through months of collaboration. For instance, it has been especially helpful to put faces to names with coworkers in the Houston warehouse, rather than only knowing them through email. Some of my biggest takeaways from this program include the importance of asking questions, forming connections, and gaining a thorough understanding of everything surrounding your role. Understanding what others in the organization do helps you know who to reach out to for assistance when diagnosing problems. Finally, being prompt and responsive to customers is critical. Customers are CME’s top priority, and that focus has been key to the company’s success. Keeping them informed and engaged when solving issues on their behalf is essential." Congratulations again, Alex, on your achievements and your bright future at CME!

Last year around this time, I was honored to be recognized as Intern of the Month at my previous company, thanks to my innovative thinking and implementation of creative solutions. I'm grateful to YES4Youth for providing me with the Learnership opportunity that helped me develop my skills and gain valuable experience. Fast forward to this year, I'm thrilled to be working at Executive motor world Company, where I quickly introduced a system that has significantly contributed to the company's progress - just a few weeks into my new role! Specifically, I implemented this system in April, and I'm delighted to report that it's working exceptionally well. What's more, the system has gained traction across various departments, including Sales, Agents, who now utilize on it to streamline their processes and enhance productivity. Its adoption company-wide is a testament to the power of innovative thinking and collaboration. I'm thankful to Signa Academy for allowing me to thrive and grow in my role, and to Ciocca Volkwagen for laying the foundation for my success. Interestingly, last week I was assigned a critical task that aligns with the company's development goals, marking a full circle from last year's achievements, which also took place in July. This experience has taught me the value of embracing growth, learning new skills, and implementing innovative ideas. My message is simple: don't hesitate to share your ideas and insights at work. By doing so, you'll not only contribute to your company's success but also showcase your skills and potential for growth within your department. #fyp #growth #implementations #babalwaphillips

Have you ever struggled with deciding whether to write about something or not? Well, I just won that battle and would like to share a few words of wisdom received. One of the numerous benefits I’ve had while an intern at ATC Uganda was having a buddy lunch with Anne Mclaren CEO ATC South Africa together with my fellow interns. Her key insights on growth spoke to me and maybe they could speak to you too: 1. Build trust with people. 2. Be curious which is fundamental for growth. Ask questions and for help to have answers including more research and reading where necessary. 3. Be Vulnerable. Put yourself out there, be brave and ready to be kicked because credit belongs to those who put themselves out there to try new stuff. 4. Humility is key. Think about everyone which helps in leadership. However in the process, don’t forget to build your brand while holding your values close. This has come in as an inspiration too to share more on what I’ve learnt over the past 10months. Looking forward to more positive engagements to help me grow as a young professional or encourage someone like me. Thank you. #Career #Growthmindset #atcuganda #Internship #Grateful

What is the most important lesson from your career that you would like to pass on to your children? As my children finish up their school year, their curiosity is in full swing. They recently asked me how I ended up working at MAN Truck & Bus UK. Questions about me instead of their holiday plans? I'm surprised too. But thinking back, I figured it might be worth sharing here as well. During my studies, I started leaning towards hands-on experiences. The more practical my learning got, the more I was hooked. This led me to internships at Volkswagen, where I focused on parts pricing and strategy. Those experiences sparked my passion for tackling real-world challenges. Ready to jump-start my career, I aimed for a role in a lively city (being young might've influenced that choice!) and looked for a trainee program that could broaden my business insights, building on my parts internship. MAN's 18-month trainee program in Munich was exactly what I was looking for. It gave me a chance to dive into different aspects of business, especially in Business Development Parts. Joining MAN in 2007 was the start of an amazing journey that's still going strong 17 years later! Transitioning from university to the corporate world was both exciting and nerve-wracking, but every step has been incredibly rewarding. Lessons I hope my children take away from my journey is to stay open to new challenges, embrace the unknown, and be proactive in their career development. Most importantly, I want them to understand that everyone’s path is unique—there’s no right or wrong way, and they should do what feels right for them. Let me know in the comments what lessons you'd like your children to learn from your career journey 👇 #MANTruckandBus #CareerJourney #Leadership
