It is that time of the year when most students go through a phase of transition in their life. For those of you stepping into the corporate world for the first time, be assured that it is going to be an equally exciting journey as it was in your college and school. For those who are stepping back into the world of business after a break, a lot will change, for better and it will all be worth it. To be honest, I was a bit nervous starting my corporate journey as a fresher, right after B-school. But to my fortune, my career started with an organisation like DIAGEO India a place that felt no different than a family. I had mentors who would go out of their way to help me, made me feel comfortable and inclusive. My journey as a Management Trainee began in July last year. In the last 10 months, I have had the privilege of staying in over 4 different cities and working with 4 different functions. What more can I ask for! In my first stint, I was tagged to the supply team, followed by a project with the customer marketing team. I made the best use of my MBA when I got the opportunity to work with the HR team. Working with each team has truly been an enriching experience. Diageo’s commitment to inclusive & innovative culture provided me with enormous opportunities to learn and grow. Finally, I was given a chance to do a factory stint as my final project. This practically got me the closest to understanding the business. Once again, a big shout out to the entire team at the unit and corporate office for trusting me with one of the most crucial projects which is extremely rare for a fresh graduate to get. Factory is where I truly understood Diageo, one big family, celebrating life everyday, everywhere. This is where life came a full circle and I understood how an organization’s values can truly resonate with your personal values. Lastly, as someone who had no idea about the corporate world to have worked in diverse functions in the last 10 months, I would like to say that for all those starting out their corporate career, be comfortable in ‘not knowing’ since that’s the best way to unlearn and learn. I’ll also take this opportunity to thank all my guides and mentors at Diageo for helping me navigate and belong. #Inclusiveness #Diversity #Inspiration #Leadership #Sustainability #DiageoIndia #CelebratingYou #PeopleOfDiageo #LifeAtDiageo

Hi! My name is Otniel and and here is my #Nesternship Journey!🙌 Up until this point, there had never been any consideration given to joining a multinational FMCG company such as Nestle Indonesia. I have come to understand that my educational background and internship experience are not aligned with the position I currently hold, which is in stream sales. However, I remember how the user interview process, and being asked questions that I never expected before. The question was, "What skills should a Sales Leader or Sales Person have". It nearly made me run out of time 😯. Then, I answered that the skills needed were, Decision Making, Negotiation, and Data Analytic. My thoughtless response at the time led me to a circumstance, where all the three skills are needed in this department. I would like to express my gratitude to my mentor and coach at the Commercial Operation, Pak Aris Mulyanto, Mas Dimas Sukma Batara, Pak Bobsy, Pak Musalam, Pak Rio, and Pak Jeffry who have helped me a lot in my learning process and involved me in many business processes at GT. Shout out to my Buddy, Kak Vannisa Fandyar Maulidhika, and the entire NNY team who have been supporting me throughout this program. Since I decided to take a leap as a nestle Sales & CDT, I have discovered my passion to built and developed a business in Consumer Goods. Being involved in nestle's business process made me realize that nestle's value to produce good food and good life is closely aligned with the values I have, which is "to be a force for good". #Nesternship made me re-arrange my Long Term Goal which is to become a Sales or Business Development Leader. I highly recommend you to join this program Read more about my experience!👇 #Nesternship2024 #BeAForceForGood #NestléIndonesia #Nestle

Returnable Packaging Analyst AB InBev | CEO for one Month Adecco Austria 2023 | National Sun yat-sen University MBA | Johannes Kepler University Msc
How time flies… Already 1 year at AB InBev🎉 The past year was for sure one, which was pivotal in my life. Starting my frist “real” job and this with an industry leader changed my life quite a lot. In the last 12 months, I not only completed my Trainee Program, but also moved 3 times, and got the chance to take over responsibilities, I never thought I would have so early in my career. Now, as Returnable Packaging Analyst being able to shape our return bottle operations and drive change to ensure our production runs smoothly, is something I never expected. Taking resume after 1 year, I wanted to share my 3 key learnings with you: ✨Keep calm: No matter what obstacles life throws at you, take a step back, evaluate and then decide. Don’t panic when things go wrong! ✨Take actions: Especially early in your career, I believe it is key to be proactive and not wait for someone to come around to tell you what to do. Drive what you think is important and find creative solutions. ✨Be humble: Don’t think that you need to show off what you did and how great you are. No one likes a show off. Do you work good and people will realize. Opportunities will come your way, you just need to be ready to catch them. I am so grateful to everyone, who supported me on this way and to all my fellow trainees at AB InBev! #dreamBig #futurewithmorecheers #career #firstjob #ABinBev
