‘’The case study demonstrates how a genetic counselor may become implicitly and explicitly directive in their communication approach within the same consult which may reveal their personal risk perceptions on the matter discussed. In addition, the case study reveals how a genetic counselor may grapple with the dilemma of honoring the non-directive guidelines of the profession, whilst simultaneously supporting a patient who requests advice. The ongoing debate on non-directive counseling, decision-making, and patient care in GC is important for the reflection and development of the profession to understand how to assist and support patients facing sensitive and difficult decisions, in a meaningful, and contextually-tailored manner.’’ By Scott et al., 2023 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/dD7a-iGj #GECONEU

Other systems can only provide insights into your previously used investigators' enrollment performance in completed clinical trials. Will that be sufficient when your company expands its portfolio to new therapeutic areas and requires new investigator outreach? Direct message SunshineMD to discover how they can save you time and resources by swiftly identifying the top enrolling investigators for your company's new therapeutic area or indication. #sunshinemd, #studyfeasibility, #siteenrollment, #investigatorperformance
Are you looking for investigators with proven experience and strong enrollment in a new indication? SunshineMD can show investigators that have worked in a particular indication and provide insights on how well they enrolled in each of their studies. For example, we researched investigators with experience and top enrollments in Metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). We easily identify how many MASH studies an investigator has worked on, and how well they enrolled in each of the completed studies. Study enrollment performance is looked at in quartiles for directional purposes. This top investigator has performed in the top quartile on 15 out of the 20 completed studies. In 3 studies he finished in the upper quartile, and 2 in the lower quartile. This investigator was never a "dud" on any of his MASH studies. #clinicaloperations, #clinicalresearch
