7 question / interactive types coming to 9.x.x release next week. Strikes right at the heart of H5P as far as core functionality our users have leaned on it for in the past. "Why do you hate h5p?" I don't, I just don't like how it's constructed because it's not portable. It's better than flash, but still really inefficient and enormous file sizes (like flash). Contrast H5P with these HAX types: - Our interactives work in any web application with or without HAX - No CMS required; this stuff could run on a stand alone webpage if needed - Highly accessible and maintainable / retroactively updatable (in the event some aspect is not) - power efficient (dramatically smaller via web component standard and leveraging code libraries) https://lnkd.in/exDr5re6 just bonkers stuff coming next week! #edtech #education #pedagogy HAXTheWeb #edu #psu #pennstate #weare #web #webdev #ngdle

#DungeonsAndDragons #FreeResource #WebDevelopment During the pandemic, when I couldn’t go to work, I decided to focus on something I love: 𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐬. Ever since I started playing at age 11 (using some old, borrowed photocopies of the manual), this game has been a huge part of my life, blending creativity, storytelling, and problem-solving. I wanted to make D&D more accessible and improve the player experience—just like we aim to enhance user experiences in web development. So, I created a resource to streamline gameplay and keep everything organized: ✨ What’s included: - Character Creation Guide: Over 60 questions to design rich, meaningful backstories for your characters. - Custom Tables: Currency conversion, experience points, carrying capacity, and more—all designed to save time and focus on the fun. - Spellbook: A structured space to organize your learned spells 🧙♂️📜. - Campaign Organizer: Dedicated sections for notes, points of interest, NPCs, and maps—all in one place to keep your adventures cohesive. I identified user pain points (time wasted searching for rules or tables) and designed an intuitive system to solve them. I focused on efficiency, organization, and enhancing the player experience. 💻 Whether you’re a Dungeon Master or a curious adventurer, I’m sharing this free resource with anyone who wants to elevate their D&D sessions. Feel free to use it, share it, and enjoy the magic of role-playing games. 👉 [ Link to the resource (Spanish) https://lnkd.in/dvhwMV92 ] Who’s ready for the next campaign? 🎲✨ #DungeonsAndDragons #DnD #RPG #WebDevelopment #CreativeProjects #UXDesign

One key use of a "Bump Plot" is to visualize rankings over time. The interactive graph below, created using R, is an example of a "Bump Plot" that illustrates life expectancy trends and rankings across G20 countries over the years. Link to the interactive Bump Plot: https://lnkd.in/d3qG_jrS
