🌟✨ Sharing Treasured Memories: Rotary - District 7600 Foundation Awards & District Conference 🤝🌍 Allow me to paint a canvas of incredible moments and shared purpose as I reflect on attending the Rotary - District 7600 Foundation Awards and the Rotary District Conference. These events were not just gatherings; they were life-altering experiences that have left an indelible mark on my heart and outlook. The heart of Rotary's impact beats strong in the stories of action we heard and the results we witnessed in the community. It's awe-inspiring to see how the collective efforts of clubs can manifest in real, tangible change. From bettering lives to making communities thrive, Rotary's mission resonates through action. Yet, beyond the remarkable initiatives, what truly touched my soul was the incredible network of passionate individuals who share the vision of a better world. Connecting with fellow attendees, each dedicated to making a difference, was a privilege. The conversations were rich with inspiration, and the bonds formed were a testament to the power of a shared goal. As I share these cherished memories, I invite you to join in the celebration of our united mission. Together, we are architects of change, weaving a tapestry of positive transformation that spans across borders and time zones. Let's continue to be torchbearers of hope, catalysts for progress, and a beacon of unity. Here's to the beauty of memories shared, and the journey ahead as we work towards a brighter, more compassionate world. 🌟🌎 #RotaryDistrict7600 #RotarcatClubTsinjo #ImagineRotary #SharedPurpose #togetherforchange

Some people are pretending to be connected with well-known schools to get sponsors and attendees for their events. Make sure to double-check before you commit to anything. Always double-check with the institution directly to confirm authenticity. 💯 #StaySafe #ProfessionalIntegrity

Exceptional ability to connect people and initiatives. Strategic agility meets get s%&! done. Collabor-action artist.
Part two. Tūhura: A day to reimagine. Throughout the day we took time to draw on the collective wisdom of the room, hearing from delegates on issues/challenges that exist across ConCOVEs five key themes and the mental models that are holding those problems in place. We’ll collate that information and share it back with delegates and members alongside learnings from our Tūhura event earlier this year. Later in the day we heard from delegates around what they’d like to see from us in the future; a few highlights for me. - Voices from Māori and Pacific People from the sector. - What would rebuilding from highly damaged canvas with lots of good bits look like? - Industry voice to government: what are collective key messages for government? - Mission led approaches to future shaping the sector Keynote speaker from our August Kirikiriroa event, Callum McKirdy expertly guided us through the day, played quizmaster, linked back to ConCOVEs mahi and checked in with every presenter on their word for the year. Thanks Callum, your support is amazing. It was really rewarding to have industry, education and government together on Wednesday. ADNZ, NZCB, Isaac Group, ATT, Construction Sector Accord, plus private trainers including Vertical Horizons and our colleagues at Waihanga Ara Rau, Hanga-Aro-Rau, Te Pūkenga among many others. Callum left us with a question and a statement. What are the realities of our environment now and what are the realities we can make the most of? Don’t rush solutions and above all don’t let perfection get in the way of testing new ways of doing things. One final word. A massive thank you to the ConCOVE team, especially Candice and Melanie, who made the day so smooth for us all, and to the ConCOVE Board and Advisory Group members who have supported us at events this year. Follow ConCOVE Tūhura for more updates on projects and events in 2024. #vocationaleducation #vocationalexcellence #futureofwork #construction #infrastructure #constructionandinfrastructure #concove

A useful series of events.. great to focus on one topic
John Murphy appreciation post 🙌 The idea was to host a set of one-day conferences that focus on each of the 5 key Trust pillars set out by the Department for Education. And that's exactly what we've done! 🎉 I've been working alongside John which has been an honour and a genuine pleasure. John has shared his ideas, introduced me to his network, and has hosted each conference as the Chair. We couldn't have done any of this without him! 👏 I'm looking forward to what we can achieve together. We make a pretty good team 😎 #MATPN #DreamTeam

CEO at ThreeSixtyEight, a B Corp | Creative Agency for Organizations Shaping the Future of Learning | Helping BTR become the Creative Capital of the South @ Assembly Required l Advocate for Unconventional Talent
Excited to share something truly close to our hearts at ThreeSixtyEight! 🌟 Over the last few months, we’ve teamed up with the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and Visit Baton Rouge to build the "Better in BTR" campaign—a campaign initiative aimed at showcasing why Baton Rouge is a prime destination for young professionals to call home. Last Thursday, we got to watch the campaign go officially live in front of hundreds of people at the Better in BTR launch party. The energy of the crowd will be a moment I’ll never forget as I felt the pride of our city come together. We were proud because we now have a shared answer to a question we’ve been asked frequently by others and even to ourselves … Why live in Baton Rouge? We know that home is more than just a place with numerous employment opportunities—it's about quality of life. That’s why our campaign goes beyond showcasing top employers; it also highlights the unique and diverse communities, neighborhoods, and recreational activities Baton Rouge offers. What truly sets our city apart, however, is the sense of belonging instilled by our community. Those who move here and choose to stay quickly discover how deeply they can connect and how difficult it becomes ever to leave. For the last two years, I’ve sent out a Google doc to hundreds of people with all the communities to join, people to meet, and things to do. Now, I’m so proud there’s a resource that can be shared by all that showcases what makes our city great. We can now answer with confidence - THIS is why we live in Baton Rouge. Check out the campaign site here: www.betterinbtr.com Use the site to explore our city. Use the site to find the right neighborhood for you. Share the site with others mulling if they should move here. Share the site with others who think BTR has nothing to do. Share the site with others looking for communities to join. If anything, come talk to me about BTR. Yes, we have some issues like other cities have, but this is a city I know YOU can make a difference in. My physical and digital door is always open to have this discussion. And yes, this is only the beginning of the campaign. If you have any stories about why your life is better in BTR, please share them in the comments! #talentattraction #talent #batonrouge #betterinbtr #economicdevelopment
