#Opportunity | 📝 Call for applications for #UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) now open – IFCD is seeking projects that support the development of the cultural and creative sectors in developing countries.

IFCD is one of few #UnitedNations funds supporting arts nonprofits and government institutions develop stronger cultural sectors in developing economies. Since 2010, IFCD has invested over US$ 11.5 million in 152 projects across 71 developing economies, contributing to various cultural initiatives, professional training, market access, and inclusion efforts.

📌 Projects should focus on implementing policies and measures that impact the creation, production, distribution, and access to diverse cultural goods and services.
📌 The aim is also to strengthen capacities in public institutions and civil society organisations to support local and regional cultural sectors and markets.
📌 Eligible entities include public institutions & NGOs from eligible countries, as well as international NGOs registered in countries that are Parties to the 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions
