🏘️We partnered with Sancler Property to install our pioneering recycled plastic kerbing solution, Durakerb, across a range of housing developments in Laugharne, South-West Wales. 🏘️ Durakerb offers a significantly lower embodied carbon footprint compared to traditional precast concrete, as confirmed by our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Its lightweight design not only minimises onsite health and safety risks, particularly related to manual handling but also eliminates workers' exposure to respirable crystalline silica. 👷 One of the standout benefits for Sancler Property was the remarkable durability of Durakerb. Less than 2% of the units required replacement during construction—an impressive improvement compared to the 75% remedial costs associated with precast materials. When you purchase a #RecycledRubber product, is it possible that it’s made from the same tires you drove on? The answer is yes! Many of the tires we collect are processed into crumb rubber. We put end-of-life tires through a grinding process that breaks the rubber into smaller and smaller pieces while removing steel and fiber.
