Our new facility is nearing completion, with the installation and commissioning of the primary tyre recycling line scheduled over the next two weeks thanks to the efforts of the on-site team from Danish industry leader ELDAN Recycling A/S. The ELDAN Recycling A/S plant is a state-of-the-art installation, turning waste tyres into crumb rubber, tyre derived products and reusable high tensile steel wire. The Neerabup facility will be a first for Australia to include a “pre-shredding” process to enable complete on-site recycling of the largest “Off The Road” (OTR) tyres of the type and size used on massive haul trucks across the mining industry. The company has also purchased advanced rubber moulding equipment to produce a range of high-value speciality rubber products, including acoustic underlay and a range of rubber matting suitable for soft-fall flooring, equestrian surfaces, farm matting, gym matting, load restraint matting and other uses. IKO Dynasty is the leading shingle brand in Vermont for multiple reasons. Vermonters prioritize a healthy lifestyle, community, and environment. IKO is committed to investing in innovative product solutions that can withstand unpredictable and severe weather conditions for the benefit of its customers. Their commitment to our long-term health and well-being goes beyond just manufacturing and installation. In the United States, approximately 10 million metric tons (11 million tons) of asphalt roofing shingle scrap are generated annually, with the majority of this waste coming from residential roof replacements ("tear-offs"). While other manufacturers may only market their commitment to recycling in the future, IKO is a leading force that ensures the long-term health of our planet. They demonstrate that difficult problems can be solved now through innovation and investment today. I am proud to represent a forward-thinking company that prioritizes our planet and families. #greenbuilding #recycledmaterials #iko #leetsalesreps #innovation #vermonters #vermontbuilders #roofers #shingles. https://lnkd.in/eDe-UT8s

🏘️We partnered with Sancler Property to install our pioneering recycled plastic kerbing solution, Durakerb, across a range of housing developments in Laugharne, South-West Wales. 🏘️ Durakerb offers a significantly lower embodied carbon footprint compared to traditional precast concrete, as confirmed by our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Its lightweight design not only minimises onsite health and safety risks, particularly related to manual handling but also eliminates workers' exposure to respirable crystalline silica. 👷 One of the standout benefits for Sancler Property was the remarkable durability of Durakerb. Less than 2% of the units required replacement during construction—an impressive improvement compared to the 75% remedial costs associated with precast materials. Paving the Future with Recycled Tyres! In mid-March, State Asphalt Services, in collaboration with Transport for NSW and Ventia, made history by using crumb rubber asphalt for the first time on a NSW State Road. The crumb rubber-based binder was produced using the "wet process". This ground-breaking project took place on the M4 at Emu Plains and was recently featured across Channel 7 and Channel 9 News. 📺 Our innovative blend uses 9kg of recycled tyre rubber per 1000kg of asphalt. With 1300 tonnes of this special mix, we’ve successfully reused around 1,400 car tyres! 🚗♻️ The result is low-odour, resilient asphalt that's not only better for the environment but also for our roads. The benefits are potentially huge, even in Australia's most punishing weather conditions, this innovative approach promises a longer lifespan for our road surfaces and helps to muffle traffic noise, creating quieter, more durable roads. With continued support from Transport for NSW, State Asphalt Services and The Kypreos Group we aim to divert thousands of tyres from landfill over the coming years by specifying crumb rubber asphalt wherever it's cost-effective. 🌏💚 At State Asphalt Services, a Kypreos Group company, we are dedicated to sustainability and innovation in every project. Let’s drive towards a greener future! #Sustainability #Recycling #Innovation #RoadConstruction #Asphalt #GreenFuture #TheKypreosGroup

Since Spicer Landfill became a Tyrewise location at the start of September, more than 1100 used tyres have been dropped off. Ka pai Porirua! 👏 That adds up to more than 13 tonnes of used tyres diverted from the landfill and kept out of our streams and harbour. As part of the nationwide product stewardship scheme, these tyres will be sent to different companies where they will gain a new life as playground matting, sportsgrounds or in cement production. Other benefits we’ve seen so far at Spicer Landfill include space freed up that was previously used for stockpiling old tyres, and time that went towards shredding and burying the tyres can now be focused elsewhere. Up to five old tyres can be dropped off at a time at Spicer Landfill free of charge (by the public - no businesses sorry!), so long as the tyres are clean and do not have rims. https://lnkd.in/gspvfzHz

🚀 Milestone Moment! 🚀 As of this week, we're thrilled to announce that we've processed 500,000 tonnes of construction and demolition (C&D) waste at our Pinkenba facility, since reopening in January 2024. The construction of our monster multi-waste stream facility, completed last year, has been instrumental in our mission to RECLAIM, REFINE, and REUSE materials like C&D waste, concrete, clean fill, and non-destructive digging (NDD) waste. The fully integrated and automated plant has enabled us to set a new standard for efficiency and sustainability, and the impact that the new Rino recycling facility has had on the industries we work with has been significant: - The ability to process multiple waste materials from both a single source i.e shopping centre demolition or multiple source e.g. skip bins, provides our customers with an efficient solution when tendering their work. They don't have to account for multiple trucks and drivers all going to separate waste treatment sites. Rino provides a solution where all materials can be delivered to one. - Our civil customers benefit too. By providing both an inbound solution and a high-quality outbound material, they can drop off materials like clean fill from a road construction and leave with TMR-compliant roadbase—all without leaving our site. At Rino Recycling, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond the materials we recycle—it's embedded in how we operate and the values we uphold. #Sustainability #Recycling #Innovation #CircularEconomy #WasteManagement #Construction #Demolition #RinoRecycling https://lnkd.in/gD5GHU5X

Since 2011, we've been turning sustainable rubberwood from North Sumatra's replanting projects into high-quality finger-joint products. By using rubber trees that are no longer profitable for latex production, we're supporting a circular, eco-friendly cycle that benefits both the environment and your business. Let's build a sustainable future together with rubberwood. #Sawmill #RatimdoUtama #RubberwoodButcherBlocks #RubberwoodFJPanels #Rubberwood #EcoWood
