In honor of November 2nd marking the end of the celebration known as The Day of the Dead, I thought it would be interesting to illustrate comparisons to the business world. The Day of the Dead and business might not seem like they have much in common at first, but when you look closer, there are some interesting similarities. Tradition and Heritage: Just like how the Day of the Dead is deeply rooted in Mexican culture, businesses often have their own unique history and traditions that shape their identity. Commemoration and Remembrance: In business, it's crucial to remember where you've come from. Whether it's celebrating achievements or learning from past mistakes, acknowledging your company's history can guide its future. Collaboration and Community: The Day of the Dead brings families and communities together, and in business, a strong sense of teamwork and community among employees can lead to better results and a more positive workplace. Creative Expression: The colorful and artistic aspects of the Day of the Dead show us the power of creativity. In the business world, creativity can lead to innovative solutions, eye-catching marketing, and unique product designs. Reflection and Planning: Just like the Day of the Dead encourages reflection on the lives of those who have passed, businesses often engage in strategic planning and reflection to assess their performance and set future goals. Resilience and Continuity: The Day of the Dead reminds us that life goes on even after the loss of loved ones. Similarly, businesses must adapt and evolve to overcome challenges and thrive in a changing world. So, even though the Day of the Dead and business may have different focuses, they share some valuable lessons about tradition, community, creativity, and adaptability that can help businesses grow and succeed in meaningful ways. #dayofthedead #business #marketingrecruiter #toptalent

Director of Customer Experience | Business Strategy | Sales Operations | Go-To-Market | Organizational Transformation | PMI
Today, I had the privilege of receiving an insightful invitation from RJ Horsley to ponder over my #GoldenCircle – and I must say, it was an enlightening experience. The introspection did wonders for me, and I feel compelled to share it with all of you, especially after spending the past week in Brazil surrounded by my loved ones. #Why: A Heartfelt #Purpose Everything I do boils down to two things: my family (bound both by blood and by the profound bonds of the heart) and the impact I can make on people's lives – our employees and customers. I've come to realize that it's all about people. It's about the connections we make and the differences we can create together. #How: The Symphony of #Performance When it comes to getting things done, it's all about our team and our approach. We're not just focused on results; we're all about getting things done in a way that brings out the best in everyone. We work hard to keep our customers happy, and the same goes for our team. Recognition and satisfaction are key for doing it. #What: The Landscape of #Impact So, what does all of this translate to? Well, I'm really passionate about creating opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses. It's not just about making money – it's about helping them grow and succeed. And it's not just about customers; it's about everyone connected to them – their employees, their clients, their families, and the community at large. To sum it up, my golden circle is all about putting people first, finding the best ways to achieve our goals, and making a positive impact on the lives we touch. And you? What is yours? #GoldenCircleInsights #HumanConnections #ImpactUnveiled

Sharing with you an article on Stone Soup Consulting's 15 years. Thanking all of you for your role in this wandering road.
“Once upon a time there were a group of people with a vision for a company that could work all over the world generating positive impact in different geographies and contexts. The impact would be generated through strategic consultancy, with a model in which entrepreneurs and organisations would partner with the consultants that would act as facilitators for change. The ecosystem would become stronger, more developed and everyone would benefit from that development.” ✨ And here we are fifteen years later.. 1️⃣5️⃣ We are about to celebrate our 15th birthday and here is Stone Soup’s Managing Partner Claudia Pedra’s reflection about the journey. 🛣 Stay tuned for more birthday news! 🎈 https://lnkd.in/eGV3uwGs
