3moFind a way to translate your other training to the civilian world. Firefighting, small valve maintenance, emergency response, all applicable. I have Army Airborne, Air Assault, and Pathfinder; and I really struggle to show HR how that translates to QA inspections, thinking on your feet, etc. But when I get the chance to explain it, recruiters are blown away by what we can do.
