#ESIAsiaPacific is proud to have our iron flow batteries as the first emerging energy technology to be tested at Stanwell Corporation Limited's Future Energy Innovation and Training Hub (#FEITH). The $110 million FEITH project, to be built at the Stanwell Power Station, will serve as a training, research and development centre for emerging energy technologies that will aid Stanwell’s renewable transformation. FEITH will provide opportunities to pilot innovative new energy technologies – including advancements in wind, solar, hydrogen and iron flow battery storage. These initiatives are crucial for Queensland's energy landscape as the state transitions to a greener future. 💥Aurora Energy Research from Oxford, the leading global provider power market analytics, has released its inaugural European Renewables Co-location Report, examining 12 European countries. The study indicated 4 countries: ☑️Germany, ☑️Great Britain, ☑️Ireland and ☑️Poland as the best four markets for co-location of RES assets with battery storage system within Europe.    🔷Co-location in Germany offers attractive revenue stacking opportunities, low grid fees, and mitigation of significant cannibalisation risk for RES, despite recent less appealing innovation auctions.  🔷The U.K. has a favorable regulatory regime that allows co-located assets to access multiple markets and provides faster grid access for co-located RES projects. 🔷Ireland's I-SEM is rated high for co-location of renewables and battery storage due to high curtailment risks for renewables and favorable legislation to facilitate faster grid acces, 🔷Poland has a strong subsidy environment. Axpo to build a 10 MWp solar farm in the Swiss Alps #swiss #power producer and #energy trader Axpo Group said on Thursday that it plans to build a 10-MWp alpine #solarplant in the municipality of Glarus Sued, making it its sixth such project in #switzerland . The new array will be located in the same municipality that is now the home to Axpo’s 2.2-MWp alpine solar plant, which has been operational since August 2022. The proposed 10-MWp #solarfarm will located in an area sitting at around 1,500 metres (4,921 ft) above sea level. The site spanning some 120,000 square metres (1.3m sq ft) will be populated with around 36,000 solar panels standing three metres above ground with an inclination of up to 70 degrees, Axpo said. Once in operation, the alpine plant will be capable of generating around 13 GWh of #electricity annually. The latest alpine project is part of Axpo’s “solar offensive”, aimed at bringing the company's #solarpower #capacity to over 1.2 GW by 2030. Pleased to share today's news of our partnership with Liquid Wind, Alfa Laval, Siemens Energy and Topsoe on a first of its kind eFuel Design & Performance Centre (DPC). The DPC is a major milestone that will further accelerate the design and implementation of eFuel facilities capable of supplying a nominal 100,000 tonnes of eMethanol per year. Three projects are currently under development in the Nordics, including FlagshipONE, the world’s first commercial scale eMethanol facility, and the goal is to develop up to ten additional plants by the end of 2027. The plants will significantly contribute to the global eMethanol market and future emissions reduction in hard-to-abate industries, such as global shipping.
