The global requirement for skilled and experienced engineers to carry out independent validation of mining companies' compliance with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings management (GISTM) and other equivalent standards such as MAC TSM is growing, and the skills gap will only worsen when the new Global Tailings Management Institute (GTMI) comes into operation later this year, placing greater pressure on all mining companies to comply with the standards. However, technology can help here. $NTU - Heavy rare earth developer, Northern Minerals is pleased to advise new assay results from the mineral resource definition drilling program at Wolverine deposit. The Browns Range Heavy Rare Earth (HRE) Project is located approximately 160km southeast of the town of Halls Creek, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The results relate to the mineral resource definition drilling program at the Wolverine deposit during FY Q2-Q3 2024, and one remaining drillhole from the previous ore characterization and geotechnical drilling program completed in FY Q3 2023. Executive Chairman Mr. Nick Curtis AM commented: “The new assay results are very encouraging and emphasise the unique nature of the Browns Range system. These results materially increase confidence in the development of the Wolverine deposit as the first mine within the larger Browns Range system. The exceptional results of the newest Wolverine resource definition drilling program and the increased geological understanding from the drill results and the structural association model supports our regional geological understanding and suggests high-grade opportunities beyond the Wolverine deposit out across the broader Browns Range system. This is encouraging for future exploration success. We are grateful that the Company was able to progress this Program as a result of the grant monies received from the Federal Government. We also are very appreciative of the support we have received from our Native Title Partners - The Jaru People who assisted in ensuring required heritage surveys were completed prior to the campaign commencing. ASX ANNOUNCEMENT: DIAMOND DRILLING COMPLETED AT PARIS GOLD PROJECT Torque Metals is pleased to announce it has completed another phase of infill and extensional diamond drilling at its wholly owned flagship Paris Gold Project, located in the West Australia Goldfields region - one of the most favourable jurisdictions for minerals exploration globally. This ongoing program is slated to be the last before the Company delivers its maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) at the Project. • Diamond drill program successfully completed, comprising 1,106m across the Paris (4 holes, 1,006m) and HHH (1 hole, 100m) prospects. • Program objective was to infill and extend high-grade mineralisation while obtaining structural, geotechnical and density information to enhance and inform Torque’s maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. • Core samples are now at the laboratory; assay results expected late August. • Imminent ~7,000 m RC program is being fine-tuned with Program of Work (POW) approved. • Paris is a shallow, high-grade, high-recovery (>96%) gold project located proximate to processing infrastructure and surrounded by producers such as Goldfields, Westgold, Northern Star among others.  Torque’s Managing Director, Cristian Moreno commented: “Torque has successfully completed its next 1,106 metres of diamond drilling at its Paris Gold Project, targeting both infill and extension of high-grade mineralisation. 🌟 Hydraulic Fracturing Technology for initial roof caving in coal mining by CCTEG 🚀 At the Jinjitan Coal Mine's 110 and 111 top coal caving working faces, we made a successful hydraulic fracturing process for initial roof caving, addressing the challenge of initial roof caving in top coal caving faces. 🛠️ The project employed a novel technique combining "conventional short-hole hydraulic fracturing" with "directional long drilling hole hydraulic fracturing." This approach not only solved pre-splitting in the coal seam roof but also addressed the problem of controlling the range and intensity of overburden movement caused by the transformation of large rock masses into smaller ones in the roadway surrounding rock. The short-hole drilling totaled 2,435 meters, with 724 segments fractured, while the long-hole drilling reached 891 meters, with 18 segments fractured. 🔍 The comprehensive assessment of the multi-dimensional hydraulic fracturing in weakening the overburden showed that all indicators met the expected outcomes. When the working face advanced 34 meters, the basic roof pressure occurred, indicating excellent initial roof caving results. 💡 This new technique of multi-dimensional hydraulic fracturing for initial roof caving represents a green, environmentally friendly, and efficient technology for hard roof pressure relief. It offers a novel alternative to traditional explosive blasting techniques for cross cutting and advanced pre-treatment of dynamic pressure disasters.
