Employment industry of choice or by chance? Never heard or heard but only bad words? Heard that they work for the environment, but it's all a load of buzz. Seems like bias against #chemical #industry and image issues. (𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵. But the impact is positive and significant, only unseen/hidden/overlooked ?, difficult for me to say) Great piece. The public doesn’t know what the chemical industry’s purpose is, and worse, they believe it only detracts from society. Read my thoughts in the article below on how this challenge impacts our ability to attract talent and what organizations like Women in Chemicals are doing to address this. Fortifying our industry for future success means we need to address this visibility and perception problem for the next generation of talent as they make their way into the workforce.
