🔈Jawoyn Association Local Decision Making (LDM) Agreement success!🔈 We are excited to announce that Jawoyn Association were recognised for Excellence in Cross-Government Collaboration thanks to our work with the NT Government on our LDM Agreement. It is an honour to achieve this award which recognises the hard work of our amazing staff and the leadership provided by our Board of Directors. Over the past six years we have worked closely with the NT Government across three LDM Implementation Plans with several key achievements realised: • Awarding of repairs and maintenance, and tenancy management contracts in Jawoyn communities Barunga, Wugularr and Manyallaluk; • Awarding of a period contract in Barunga and Manyallaluk to deliver new builds and Room to Breathe works; • Increased employment opportunities across the Jawoyn Group; and • Establishment of the Mungguy Mans Grup and expansion of the Banatjarl Strongbala Wimun Grup. We would like to thank the Chief Minister and the NT Government for their ongoing support and commitment to our LDM Agreement. JAAC is excited to continue working closely together to achieve the key actions outlined in our newest Implementation Plan 2024-26. Northern Territory Government
