Drawing from her interdisciplinary background in technology, business, law and society, Katina explores the double face of AI dependent on the strategic vantage point of the player, analogous to a game of chess. Whether AI is good or bad, really depends on who the #decisionmaker is, their #intentionality and the #context of the #game. The talk will delve into the socio-technical landscape of AI, and how environmental dimensions are critical in closing the policy-practice pacing problem. Prof. Michael will present several scenarios in which organizations have been held accountable whereby demonstrating the need for emphasis on corporate social responsibility (#CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (#ESG) priorities. This talk aims to raise awareness about the double face of AI, the importance of #human #leadership, and #failures in the loop and their #socialimplications.
