We’re hiring a salesperson. Can you sell ketchup popsicles to women in white gloves? Ice to an Alaskan? Sand in the Desert? A comb to a bald man? If so, I want to talk to you. We’ve got some exciting things in the works at Special Sauce and we need a salesperson to join the team to help drive the action. This person will be tasked with identifying leads, doing cold outreach, and closing sales. Don’t worry, the product solves a real problem and we’ll arm you with all the product knowledge, scripts, and marketing materials to be successful, you just have to bring ferocious intensity to prospecting, outreach, and follow-up to land clients. Why SaaS companies find it difficult to hire Sales professionals in Germany: - There's a huge supply & demand issue - Companies fail to empathise with the German culture - They don't have a data centre in Germany - They don't have translated marketing collateral - German sellers are more conservative - They don't have localised leadership - Hiring processes lack detail & transparency - Becoming a salesperson after getting a degree/masters is still stigmatised; there's still a lack of talent in the market To my German network, what other mistakes do SaaS companies make when trying to hire salespeople?
