Ezekiel Ibrahim Nyortal, a graduate of LASS, returned to Bweyale, the refugee settlement he once called home, to deliver a Christmas message that touched hearts and inspired hope. Ezekiel's sermon on love and unity resonated deeply with the vulnerable members of the Molokonyi area, and his presence bridged the gap between past struggles and future hope. But the day wasn't just about words—generous donations, community collaboration, and shared faith brought tangible blessings to those in need. His return was a powerful reminder of the strength of faith, education, and community. 🙌🏼 Read the full story on our blog! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gXekGSWc

Hola friends and family!! 🖤 Every day my team works tirelessly to support refugees as they rebuild their lives in safety and with dignity. We provide essential services like resettlement, children and youth services, education, community resources, and psychosocial support to help our new neighbors thrive. But we can't do it alone. This vital work is only possible through the generosity and support of our community. Please consider making a donation which will directly impact the lives of refugees, helping them to overcome the many challenges they face. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference: · $50 can provide two months of bus passes · $100 can cover purchasing a warm meal upon arrival · $200 can cover purchasing a warm bed · $250 can cover a week of groceries · $500 can support multiple family’s utility payments, ensuring they have a safe place to call home. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue our mission to empower refugees and build a stronger, more inclusive community. Please consider making a gift today to support the work of me and my team. Together, we can help refugees not just survive, but also truly thrive. Click this link to donate:

The ongoing crisis in Lebanon has left 809,043 civilians internally displaced (OCHA) and 795,025 refugees from conflict-affected states (UNHCR). Since 2019, Rise Up Humanity has been working closely with Syrian refugee camps in Northern Lebanon, implementing impactful projects that have supported thousands of displaced families. Today, they are partnering with a dedicated team on the ground to provide safe and warm housing solutions for the most vulnerable refugees—many of whom have fled the horrors of war and cannot return home due to ongoing threats. They have secured land and are ready to build essential tent structures made from wood and canvas, along with toileting and showering facilities. But they need your help. If 10 people donate $50, Rise Up Humanity can provide a family of 4 or 5 with everything they need to stay warm and off the streets. With winter approaching, many families are forced to sleep in cars or under trees, facing the harsh reality of cold nights. Your contributions can save lives and alleviate the suffering of innocent families. 100% of donations go directly to their projects. This initiative is led by Vice-President and co-founder, Tamara Sharifov, LCSW, MA, MS, an expert in psychotherapy, humanitarianism, conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and global and international affairs. Tamara was part of the first humanitarian medical mission bridging medical doctors with mental health clinicians at the Syrian-Lebanese border in 2018, just a week after the devastating chemical attacks on civilians in eastern Damascus. Organizations like Rise Up Humanity provide life-saving relief and hope to thousands who feel hopeless. There are just a few days left before 2024 ends. The year 2025 is filled with uncertainty for the immigrant community. That is why we need your financial support today so we are prepared to fight for local immigrants, no matter what challenges they face. Based on the ever-changing whims of the new administration, many of our clients risk immediate deportation, and - once again - children could be separated from their families. Your gift will support our clients’ greatest and – now, wildly unpredictable – needs. We will continue to be there to defend the rights of refugees and asylum seekers and advocate for their rightful inclusion in America - just like we did during the first Trump administration. We need your support today to meet the chaos that lies ahead. Help us stand up for immigrants by donating before 2024 ends: https://lnkd.in/eKgUTNab

Each donation is assessed a flat 5% administrative fee. If the donation is by credit card a 3% card processing charge is assessed prior to assessing the administrative fee. Urgent - this needs to be exposed!! America is facing an existential threat - and one of the biggest groups that's working to destroy our nation is Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities is now making videos saying ‘Phase Two’ has just begun. REPOST for exposure ASAP!! The charities say they want to now help migrants “begin working on our applications to sponsor friends and family”. So let me break this down for you: Phase one: flood and overwhelm the system with millions of illegal immigrants. Phase two: allowing permanent resident aliens called Lappers or people with green cards and United States citizens to sponsor illegal immigrants from foreign nations into America. The end (of America as we know it). #thinblueline #lawenforcement
