About Water Electrolysis Water electrolysis is used for the production of high-purity hydrogen from water and renewable energy sources. It occupy a prominent place for the decentralized production of hydrogen. The difference comes from the temperature of operation and the pH of the electrolyte. Even though alkaline process is the oldest, SPE water electrolysis has been making more progresses. Just completed the below course on Hydrogen energy funamentals, how this is created, how it is captured and transported, and how they can contribute overall to the energy sector. Hydrogen is the closest 'clean' fuel to hydrocarbons (when green or white), and can be used in many methods where fossil fuels are utilised today but comes with additional challenges and inefficiencies. These technical hurdles can be overcome using the experience and know how from oil and gas to create additional product lines and revenue streams complimenting existing technology as opposed to replacing them. #hydrogenenergy #energytransition #oilandgas #technology
