These roles demand individuals who can lead with vision, inspire and motivate teams, and drive positive changes in healthcare settings. The evolving healthcare environment, characterized by complex patient needs, technological advancements, and policy changes, requires nurse and midwife leaders who are adept at managing resources, advocating for patients, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This module will address the need for leadership development by providing practical strategies and theoretical insights into transformative leadership. By fostering leadership skills, this training aims to improve healthcare delivery, enhance job satisfaction among staff, and ultimately lead to better patient care outcomes. ✒️This topic is designed for practicing nurses and midwives, nursing and midwifery students, and healthcare professionals aspiring to take on leadership roles within their organizations. We’ve completed studies on nurses, dental practitioners, pharmacists, and vets – now, it’s time for #midwives👩⚕️! This is the fifth study that Spark carries out for the European Commission (DG GROW) on the mapping and assessment of developments for the sectoral professions under Directive 2005/36/EC. As with the previous studies, Spark will support the Commission in assessing whether to propose adapting the minimum subjects, knowledge and skills for the #midwifery profession. It will do so by: 👶🏼 mapping the current requirements of the theoretical and clinical training of midwives, the training programmes, and the knowledge and skills that students should acquire in all EU/EFTA States; 👶🏽 assessing whether it would be appropriate to update the minimum requirements of Directive 2005/36/EC in light of scientific and technical development; and 👶🏾 providing suggestions on possible updates based on research, data assessment and interaction with relevant stakeholders. We are thrilled to start working on this, together with the support of both our key experts in the field and our great team of national legal experts! 🤝 🔔 Do not forget to check website if you want to stay updated on the progress of this Study https://lnkd.in/d_a-zUMb
