By living over 10 years in cities severely impacted by floods, hurricanes and sea level rises like Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong, I witnessed firsthand the impacts of climate change. I knew that capital had to be mobilized toward solutions that help society not only survive but thrive in the face of environmental challenges. Since 2022, we built a coalition of investors now influencing over $22 billion to climate solutions, they understand the immense economic and social value in funding climate mitigation & adaptation technologies. In 10 years, I see the Climate Tech Coalition as a global renowned leader in climate adaptation finance, having backed at least 500 transformative companies and delivering serious return for its investors. More importantly, we’ll have contributed to reducing the potential $36-60 trillion in global GDP losses worldwide, playing a key role in helping societies prepare for and mitigate climate risks.

Climate friends! Due to popular demand, we’re launching a series of educational events (both virtual and in-person) to help climate founders and investors navigate the changing landscape of climate finance.  The first of these events, “Costs of Capital for Climate Tech” is coming up and we’d love for you to join us!  The event is co-hosted by Enduring Planet and Planeteer Capital, with guests from Silicon Valley Bank and The Ad Hoc Group, and will feature a panel of experts as well as extensive audience Q&A. We'll be discussing how Fed actions, the election, and changing macro-economic conditions will affect the costs of financing across asset classes in climate in 2025 and beyond. I love a SPACE4 conference. And not just because I work here…. 🤣 I think the size and atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between informal and professional. 🎉 Congratulations to the 26 cities representing 16 countries selected to join NetZeroCitiesEU #PilotCities Programme and contribute to the objectives of the EU Cities Mission. Over the next two years, with nearly 15 Million Euros in funding and support from NetZeroCities, these 26 cities will launch 22 Pilot Activities, testing and implementing systemic and locally designed innovative actions on a wide range of topics, from energy efficiency and energy transition pathways to citizen engagement and improved governance models. 💚 With the addition of this new cohort of 26 #PilotCities, the Pilot Cities Programme has expanded to a total of 79 cities.
