Animal Experimental Brief Report: The Effect of Habio Multi-enzyme on Laying Performance of Laying Ducks

As part of the NLAS program, Rodania Bekhit developed an algorithm to automatically detect and extract the temperature in a certain region of interest (in this project the ear base) in thermal imaging recordings of pigs. 【Can AI chat with animals? A $10M competition is open】 A competition announced this week plans to reward researchers for making progress toward using artificial intelligence or other methods to enable humans and animals to share meaningful dialogue—with an eventual prize of up to $10 million for mastering the task. The Coller Dolittle Challenge for Interspecies Two-Way Communication (Doctor Dolittle was the famed fictional veterinarian who talked to animals) aims to harness a growing base of research on interpreting nonhuman s pecies’ vocalizations, such as bat chirps and whale songs. Each year for the next 5 years, the competition’s sponsors plan to award $100,000 to the team making the most progress toward two-way communication based entirely on the animal’s own language. The first to achieve it would get $10 million in equity or $500,000 in cash. The competition is sponsored by the Jeremy Coller Foundation, whose interests include ending intensive animal agriculture. Our ESRs will present cluster four – novel methods at Lyon EAAP on the 30th August, session 49 in room Gratte Ciel 1: 🐷 ESR 1: Roberta Ruggeri Title: Validated machine learning model to detect IUGR piglets Teaser: Roberta developed an innovative tool based on computer vision and deep learning to diagnose intrauterine growth restriction in newborn piglets. 🐷 ESR 2: Inés García Viñado Title: In-vivo validation of a non-invasive tool to collect intestinal content in pigs -CapSa- Teaser: Inés validated a new device that allows sampling from the same pig microbiota from the small intestine several times during his life pig without harming it.
