Today we return to the WindEurope trade show in Bilbao where PASEK , together with Canteras de Santullan, LKAB and Magellan, are presenting our dense fluid formulated from our minerals. With customized density up to 3,5, this non-newtonian fluid behaves as a solid except when it is pumped or compressed. For floating offshore wind turbines, our development allows to transfer loads dynamically to different areas of the base to compensate the wind loads and assuring the verticality of the mast. Our dense fluid is also a convenient ballast solution to easily add, remove or transfer weight in underwater anchorings, avoiding expensive decommissioning costs. In marine vessels this solution simplifies the shifting of weight for balance.

Potentially the largest offshore wind farm in the US has been given the go-ahead by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), clearing one of the obstacles to development.
