Randstad Digital Australia’s Post

Every year on June 20th, World Productivity Day recognises the importance of being productive as its growth is the key to long-term prosperity. However, despite employee engagement, employee experience, and well-being interventions leading to very high levels of job satisfaction, they have mostly failed to impact worker productivity. Over the decade to 2020, average annual labour productivity growth in Australia was the slowest in 60 years, falling to just 1.1%. Are there solutions? Yes, according to the ‘5-year Productivity Inquiry’ Report by the Australian Productivity Commission. The adoption of digital technology, artificial intelligence and data use by businesses are vital enablers of productivity. In addition, highly skilled and adaptive workers will also be critical to address this challenge. So, let’s adopt smart practices that allow us to achieve more with less effort because that’s ‘working smart, not hard’. #WorldProductivityDay2024 #WorkSmarter #TechForGood Source: https://lnkd.in/gyfCQ_sm
