Proud to share Everest’s 2023 Corporate Responsibility Report. For the third year in a row Robert Derector Energy & Sustainability (RDE) calculated and compiled the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions data that is included as Appendix A. It has been great to share in and support Everest’s GHG reporting journey over these last 3-year years - starting with the, not always so straightforward, basics and expanding the scope and boundary of reporting each year. For the 2021 report, Everest’s first year reporting it’s GHG emission, we helped Everest start this journey in a manageable way; by reporting on GHG from electricity use and business travel for US locations only. For the second year (2022), the reporting boundary was expanded to include most Everest locations worldwide, with the scope of reported emissions now including Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services, along with GHG emissions from employee commuting and homeworking. This last year (2023) the scope and boundary has been expanded further to include all heating and electric energy use emissions at even the smallest shared office locations occupied by Everest. Our experts at RDE have a wealth of experience in supporting organizations taking either their first, or their next, steps in developing and reporting GHG emissions against Standards such as the Global Reporting Institute’s (GRI’s) Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol). Proud to take home the first championship in league history. We were able to come away with a victory over Milrose Consultants just before the heavens opened up last night at Riverside Park. Congrats to our players: Zorriana Johnson, Mike Jorisch, Maria DeOliveira, Vincenzo Vaccaro, Patrick O'Sullivan, PE, Brandon Shadood, PE, Joseph Adamo, PE, George Cloud, Emily Green, Steve Seiden, PE, LEED AP. Financial services giant JPMorgan Chase is making a big bet on South Florida's future by doubling its 1450 Brickell office space to 160,000 square feet and opening a new 13,000-square-foot office at 360 Rosemary in downtown West Palm Beach. This expansion will create 400 new jobs in Brickell and centralize over 60 employees in West Palm Beach, contributing an estimated $151 million in additional annual economic activity. Finished up the regular season with a loss to Gardiner & Theobald Inc. last night. Joseph Stoutland made several great plays in the outfield including a double play on s catch and throw to Emily Green at second base. Frank Vertuccio hit a blast for a ground rule double in that last inning, but it was too little, too late. Chris Barry, PE pitched a solid game. On a completely unrelated note, prior to the game, we had a strategic planning meeting and one of the key takeaways was that we wanted to improve relations with G&T.

We played two softball games this week vs JRM Construction Management and Benchmark Builders, LLC with one win and one loss. Brian Sensi pitched a great game, Evan Hawkes played an impressive shortstop and Melissa Cortez had an amazing at bat and worked a walk. On the RDA side, Vincenzo Vaccaro and Maria DeOliveira played great D up the middle, Brandon Shadood, PE came in from NJ to roam the outfield and Zorriana Johnson had a solid game at catcher. Looking forward to our match up with Corgan next week and Gardiner & Theobald Inc. the following week.

Great game between Robert Derector Associates and VVA Project & Cost Managers last night. Benchmark Builders, LLC battled VVA in the first game, which tired them out a little. Dylan A. Schedler pitched a great game with Perry Vella, Michelle Fede and Kevin Gold playing a solid infield. Patrick O'Sullivan, PE made some great plays at short, Joseph Adamo, PE had a nice blast and Helen Velez ended the game by turning a double play. Player of the game was Chris Barry, PE with some solid pitching, but better trash talking with Maxime “Max” Maurice.
