On September 11, 2001, our nation endured the most horrifying acts of terror in recent American history - a deliberate and despicable attack that resulted in the deaths of 2,977 people. That day saw both the worst and best of humanity, as first responders, medical service personnel, law enforcement professionals and ordinary civilians risked their lives to save the lives of others. In the face of terror, heroes ran toward burning buildings and charged hijacked cockpits, paying the ultimate sacrifice. Our brave men and women of the military quickly mobilized to defend our Constitution and send a clear message to the rest of the world. These attacks were intended to weaken our resolve and undermine our fundamental values, but Americans continue to embrace freedom and democracy instead of fear and oppression. 22 years later, as we reflect on this national day of remembrance, may we never forget the lives lost, sacrifices made and unwavering resilience of our country. #september11 #neverforget #insenate45

On January 6th, 2021, all of us globally witnessed the #insurrection at the #USCapitol where #DomesticTerrorists breached the Capitol Building to attempt a #CoupDEtat which ultimately failed. There are many disturbing pictures taken of that day of the violence that caused damage to the building and loss of life to the defenders of the US Capitol. But one picture that stands out to me is the one of this domestic terrorist carrying the #ConfederateFlag which for the first time in #USHistory was near or inside the Capitol. https://lnkd.in/e24svp8f The Confederate Flag which represents #bigotry, #hate, #racism and support of #slavery amongst many other heinous things was proudly flown by the losing side of the #US #CivilWar but it never made it within six miles of the US Capitol until exactly three years ago. Having gone to High School in the state of #Arkansas which was a #ConfederateState during the Civil War, I saw the flag that represents hate everywhere and never fully understood what it represented until I studied the true history of that flag on my own. I was definitely not going to learn its history in my high school in a state that still embraced that flag and continues to. There are many people downplaying what happened three years ago and a mind boggling 1 in 4 #Americans believe that January 6th, 2021 was instigated by the #FBI. Today is a solemn day and a day we should continue to remind ourselves of how easy it is for people to follow #Demagogues. #FoodForThought and something to ponder as we enter the #PresidentialElection this year. #SaturdayThoughts

A test to determine the nonwhite American/African physical, political moral capabilities to respond to a tyrannical and oppressive first act of aggression in a conflict we all see coming. 2. A gauge of allyship by those who are truly allies accused of being woke by a conservative, elites and racist faction hell bent on white supremacy instead of equity, equality, inclusivity and elevated Quality of Life for all. 3. An immoral field reconnaissance from extremist factions to understand what happens when one or more opposes white supremacy and white privilege with integrity, logic loyalty and physical response. Stop sleeping and stay ready so you/we don't have to get ready. The first nonmilitary civil militia clandestine activity in class warfare with a racial undertone and supremacy overlay has happened. It follows two simple steps to achieve its objectives Step 1. Since no one, not even a superpower, can survive isolation, focus on isolating the victim. Lobbies, media organizations and naval blockades come in handy at this stage. When the victim of isolation is driven to desperation he WILL resort to desperate measures! These desperate measures are called mistakes and miscalculations. International law tells us that the powerful should enjoy what they can and the weak should suffer what they must. Hence, mistakes made by the victims never go unpunished! Step 2. Never distract the victim when he is making a mistake and let real politik run its own majestic and blood drenched course. The "No-State Solution" works like magic. It is infact the Final Solution that has eluded homicidal maniacs less sophisticated than the Judea Christians forever

Fact: Hamas leader, Khaled Mashal, has called for an international day of rage today not against Israelis, not against zionists, but against Jews worldwide. Fact: Hundreds of Jewish day schools are closed today in the US. Fact: Hundreds of synagogues are scrambling to beef up security even further. Fact: Thousands of Jews are legally obtaining firearms. In one corner, we have... Conning Conundrum Syndrome (CCS)! - Symptoms: Unshakable loyalty, denial reflex, and the blame game shuffle. Victims insist they haven't been conned by Trump and Putin, despite overwhelming evidence that could make a blindfolded jury shout "Guilty!" And in the other corner, we have... Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)! - Symptoms: Uncontrollable eye-rolling at the mention of Trump, spontaneous fits of fact-checking, and an intense urge to debunk every tweet. Accused sufferers vehemently oppose Trump, sometimes with a fervor that rivals a sports fan during the playoffs. CCS - "Conning Conundrum Syndrome" is like having a GPS that stubbornly refuses to recalibrate. You're headed for a cliff, but it keeps saying, "Turn right in 100 feet." You’re convinced the destination is glorious, but spoiler alert: it’s a steep drop into reality. TDS - "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is like having a highly sensitive radar that detects every single Trump-related blip, no matter how small. You’re hyper-aware of every move, comment, and typo, often resulting in high blood pressure and a sudden urge to tweet. Denial vs. Obsession - CCS: "No way, Trump’s perfect!" - TDS: "No way, Trump’s terrible!" Blame Game vs. Blame Flame - CCS: "What about those emails?" - TDS: "What about that tax return?" Loyalty vs. Paranoia - CCS: "Trump could do no wrong." - TDS: "Trump can do no right." The Hilarious Hypocrisy: - CCS sufferers are like fans at a magic show, utterly convinced that the magician’s tricks are real, while TDS sufferers are the skeptics yelling, "I see the wires!" - CCS Remedy: "Come on, admitting you've been conned isn't that bad. Think of it like realizing the magician pulls rabbits out of hats, not thin air." - TDS Remedy: "Hey, take a breath. Sometimes it’s okay to let a tweet pass by without a full investigation. Not every blip is a bombshell." In the grand scheme of things, both CCS and TDS could use a little bit of perspective, a dash of humor, and a lot less stress. After all, life’s too short to be stuck in a syndrome, right? So, whether you’re staunchly defending or constantly critiquing, remember to laugh along the way. Because in the end, we’re all just trying to navigate this crazy world, one conundrum at a time.

The more I learn and read about how disastrous the resources are managed at the Department of Defense and its Armed Services branches, and how the present administration utilizes the law enforcement agencies to enforce and promote their political agendas persecuting the people who think different than the uniparty, how heroes are prosecuted for defending the innocent and criminals walk free, the more I question how much will the people take before they rise against an oppressive and authoritarian regime. There’s very little incentive for young men and women to serve the nation when their own government doesn’t honor the sacrifices of the men and women in uniform. Things need to change. America is unrecognizable.
