https://lnkd.in/eSyW8drh Our team at Metahelios ltd is constantly developing groundbreaking sensor technologies for several industries. However, we are particularly honoured that our hard work since founding Metahelios has made us the world’s leading company in the development of Metasurface sensor technologies for defence and national security applications. Metahelios currently stands as the only company to have developed and introduced the first shortwave infrared filter array (SWIFA) technology on the market. Indeed, our technology enables the creation of the first miniaturised infrared spectral cameras that require no moving parts for mobile and uninterrupted enhanced situational awareness. When we developed this technology we were not entirely sure how much traction it would receive. However, indicators of several funding calls including the US Army's recent SBIR call for “Miniaturization of Hyperspectral Sensors for UAS Applications” underlines the occurring momentum in demand for our technology. As a young company we could not be more pleased to see that the global market is turning in our favour. As part of our journey we are also constantly looking for new defence, space, and semiconductor investors. Fundraising is crucial to Metahelios’ mission to continue developing cutting-edge technologies that go far beyond what is thought to be possible. If you would like to know more about our technology or investment opportunities, do not hesitate to contact us at enquiries@metahelios.co.uk or on our website www.metahelios.co.uk. #defense #defence #nationalsecurity #sensors #semiconductors #metasurfaces US Army US Navy United States Air Force UK Ministry of Defence UK government #UKsemiconductorinstitute Department for Science, Innovation and Technology

Flight test programs must maximize the efficiency of all flights to meet tight schedules. Feeding pilots critical information or having flight test engineers onboard who can visualize and analyze data in real time can speed up test point clearance. Curtiss-Wright’s NXDP airborne IADS products are a rugged computing solution combined with the industry’s leading visualization and analysis software. With the NXDP-4000, onboard engineers have the full capabilities of IADS RTStation and can see the same screens with the same data as the ground-based mission control team. The more compact NXDP-3000 can be placed virtually anywhere onboard a test vehicle and configured to show the critical data to the pilot. DADA X has a plethora of use cases, including defense, aerospace and robotics. Particularly in high-stakes military contexts, time from data to decision is critical. This is where DADA X excels, operating on a paradigm that's fundamentally different from traditional data processing. DADA X doesn't just crunch numbers; it's more like a nervous system reacting to stimuli in real-time. Our event-driven, causal approach handles events as they occur, at the bus level. Causal patterns are matched dynamically as events unfold, allowing for immediate decision-making and action. Pattern matching on the event bus is a game-changer. By directly matching event patterns, DADA-X can quickly identify and respond to relevant events, based on causal models. Our causal approach enables true real-time autonomy and responsive adaptation, crucial for modern military operations where every millisecond counts. #Autonomy #MilitaryTech #AutonomousSystems #RealTimeDecision

Mayman Aerospace Achieves Key Milestone with Razor VTOL Flight Tests How will successful tests of Mayman Aerospace’s Razor VTOL aircraft shape the future of autonomous aviation? Mayman Aerospace has completed successful flight tests of its Razor testbed VTOL aircraft at a military base in Southern California. The Razor testbed, identical in dimensions and weight to the production-ready Razor P100, demonstrated its advanced propulsion, thrust vectoring, and flight control systems during the tests. David Mayman, founder and CEO of Mayman Aerospace, emphasized Razor’s potential to revolutionize autonomous VTOL applications for both military and civilian use, noting that it is already reaching speeds exceeding 450 knots. Supported by the United States Department of Defense, the tests validated avionics, flight control systems, and thrust vectoring, marking a significant step towards the development of the Razor P100. Chief engineer Dr. Manu Sharma highlighted the success of seven autonomous mission sets, including the critical transition from hover mode to winged flight. With more tests scheduled for later this year, Mayman Aerospace is poised to redefine the boundaries of VTOL technology. What impact do you think these advancements will have on the future of defense and commercial aviation?
