Collaboration and teamwork at its best! Last week our colleagues from Customer Technical Service and New Business Development had the privilege of visiting our Service Centre Maastricht BV, comprising Multisteel | Tata Steel Nederland and Feijen | Tata Steel Nederland. Many thanks to Steven Dijkstra and Marco Mabesoone for being excellent hosts and showing us around the production lines where coils are processed. Highlights of the visit included - The innovative knife building robots at Multisteel - pioneering technology in action! - The new cut-to-length line at Feijen - a state-of-the-art addition to their capabilities. As well as exploring production processes, we also discussed developments and opportunities for collaboration, for example in e-commerce, CRM systems or generative AI. And also the little steps of interworking count - like reusing wooden dunnage from the service centre at our neighbouring tube mill in Maastricht to save resources. It's always inspiring to see how innovation and teamwork come together to create value for our customers and partners. #Innovation #Collaboration #Sustainability #Maastricht #Teamwork Beate Oost, Hans Holtkamp, Laurent Baptiste, Peter Visser, Jessica van Rijn, Karla Lozano, Kirstin Bach, Andrea Picello

The HerkulesGroup has just completed a strategy meeting at the Ford City PA manufacturing plant. The goal was to improve communication and efficiency across all of our engineering facilities. In addition, the future production setup of the plant was discussed with a view to maximizing efficiency with regard to logistics and assembly processes. The focus was on the fastest possible response times for our customers' engineering requests and on increasing our production output to speed up machine production and provide immediate assistance in emergency situations at the customer's premises. Many thanks to everyone involved for their dedication and commitment to progress! The road to a sustainable future starts with innovation in logistics. 🚛⚡ At Duvenbeck, we’re taking a giant leap forward by introducing the MAN eTGX Ultra Low Liner into our fleet—a game-changer in low-emission transportation! 🌍 This advanced #eTruck isn’t just a new addition; it’s a bold step towards #Decarbonization in automotive logistics. Designed to meet the high-volume needs of our customers, it’s tailor-made for efficiency and sustainability, setting new standards in #GreenLogistics. Rolling out in the Rhine-Ruhr region and Benelux, the eTGX is more than just a truck—it’s a statement. A statement of commitment to innovation, energy efficiency, and a greener tomorrow. #SustainableLogistics #eMobility #InnovationInTransport #FutureOfLogistics #AutomotiveSolutions #SustainabilityMatters
Almost everything we own at home - whether food or interior furnishing - was once transported by truck. Low-emission transportation is therefore an issue that affects everyone. For us as #logistics experts, #sustainability is hence unsurprisingly an essential topic. At Duvenbeck Unternehmensgruppe, our fleet in particular plays an important role in continuously driving forward energy efficiency and resource optimization. We are thus delighted to welcome the first eTruck of MAN Truck & Bus SE to our fleet as of today. The MAN eTGX Ultra Low Liner not only “electrifies” with its low-emission propulsion, but is also specially adapted to the loading volume requirements of our customers in the automotive logistics. The eTruck will mainly be used in the Rhine-Ruhr area and in the Benelux countries. Looking for more details? 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘁: 𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. As I sat on this Jungheinrich forklift, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey of the material handling industry, and my own. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve seen how innovation has transformed forklifts from simple machines into precision instruments that power supply chains with efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This isn’t just about technology; it’s about understanding how every piece of equipment contributes to a larger system. Whether optimizing operations or ensuring safety on the shop floor, each decision we make is a step toward building stronger, more resilient businesses. What stands out to me: True leadership in material handling comes from blending hands-on experience with forward-thinking solutions, aligning operational excellence with the evolving needs of the industry. Here’s to driving progress, one innovation at a time. A few months ago, I had the privilege of sitting down with some of the brilliant minds behind Jungheinrich AG, a global leader in material handling. Their commitment to innovation is truly inspiring- 100% of the products coming off their production lines are now fully electric, marking a significant leap toward a greener future. Here’s a little-known fact about me: before my Formula 1 career, I was accepted into Imperial College London to study aerospace engineering. So, it's no surprise that innovation and technology have always been close to my heart. Seeing organisations like Jungheinrich harness innovation and automation to boost productivity by 30% while using 25% less space in warehouses is a perfect example of efficiency at its finest. But beyond the tech, what really struck me during these interviews was the passion and vision these pioneers have for shaping a sustainable future. Get to know the people who help shape the future of material handling every day with their tireless commitment - in the Jungheinrich documentary series: “Meet the Pioneers” (Link in the comments) As we move toward more automated and electric solutions across various industries, how do you see this shift impacting your own field? Let’s discuss in the comments! #Sustainability #Innovation #MaterialHandling #Automation

😍🚛 Another milestone in the electrification of freight transport? Yes, our colleagues at MAN Truck & Bus SE delivered the first eTruck to the Duvenbeck Unternehmensgruppe, a German logistics provider. The "Ultra Low Liner eTGX" has been specially developed to meet the load volume requirements of automotive logistics. 🪴 By 2026, Duvenbeck plans to supply up to 120 MAN eTGX units to Volkswagen production facilities, making plant logistics particularly climate-friendly. It will also be used for the first time at the Wolfsburg plant. "The use of MAN eTrucks is part of the goTOzero impact logistics program, with which Volkswagen has embarked on the path to consistently climate-friendly logistics. In the long term, the use of electric trucks is the most important lever for reducing CO2 emissions in road transportation," says Simon Motter, Head of Volkswagen Group Logistics. 🔋 Be part of the journey towards climate-friendly logistics—follow us for more updates on sustainable innovation!
