Sibanye-Stillwater takes a giant step towards sustainability! 🌱 The South African mining leader has signed a 20-year PPA to secure 140 MW of wind power from the Umsinde Emoyeni wind farm. This agreement, in partnership with ACED and EIMS Africa, aims to decarbonise their operations and significantly reduce emissions by 24%. 🏭 With the project expected to be operational by Q4 2026, this initiative is part of Sibanye-Stillwater’s commitment to meet 70% of its electricity demand from renewable sources by 2027. Their goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040.
