Women in Leadership🫶🏿👏🏿
Gearing up for an inspiring event this week, where the women in our organisation will come together to share their experiences and encourage another. We're indeed very grateful for our women in leadership roles who will headline the event, sharing their remarkable leadership journeys. As an organisation, we recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions that women bring to leadership roles. Whether in boardrooms, policy-making, politics, legislative chambers, or grassroots efforts, their unique perspectives foster diversity of thought, enhance the decision-making process, and drive progress. Across our organisation, we remain committed in our efforts to champion diversity and inclusion in our workforce, including supporting women’s aspiration to assume leadership positions. #womeninleadership #empowerment #diversity #inclusion #genderequality #leadership #women #womenlead #welead

To help more women in business reach top leadership positions, it's important to hear from them about the opportunities and challenges they face. Our latest Women’s Leadership Summit Survey reveals that women executives are optimistic about their own paths to the C-suite but acknowledge continued hurdles to broader progress. Our survey highlights the need for organizations to look out for a combination of social, structural and workplace challenges to advancement, with succession planning as the key driver of change. Dive deeper into the study here:
Our latest survey reveals that, while there is still room for greater gender parity in corporate leadership, there has been a positive trend ocurring within the last decade. According to the 2024 KPMG Women’s Leadership Report, executive women report increased representation in the C-suite, with 78% noting an increase in senior role representation within their organizations over the last ten years. Black women in leadership are an asset. In my Fast Company article, I look at the myriad of ways that Black women are uniquely qualified to lead connected, effective teams, despite being given few of the tools to do so in corporate America. Bringing awareness to and effectively leveraging the skills Black women possess will not only deliver strong results, but breathe life — and some credibility — into an organization’s ambitions to create workplaces that tap into and enable the talent of all.
