WRI India hosted a roundtable on ‘Green Hydrogen Growth: Sub-National Dialogue on Catalyzing Change for Addressing Growth Hurdles’ at the 10th India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2024 organized by India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA). Nearly 40 stakeholders from states, industry, and financial institutions participated. They discussed key policy measures, incentives, and infrastructure support needed to accelerate green hydrogen growth in India. State representatives shared their initiatives, while industry experts highlighted challenges in project development and incentives. The discussion also focused on the role of state authorities in supporting R&D, export-focused projects, financing options, mitigating financial risks, and fostering innovation. Some of the key takeaways from the session include: ➡ Emphasis on the need for a comprehensive regulatory framework to support green hydrogen growth  ➡The importance of carbon market pricing bridging the gap between grey and green hydrogen ➡Early project investments should be seen as valuable learning opportunities. ➡Increasing the feasibility of green hydrogen by identifying niche/specific applications (and locations) for the green hydrogen industry. ➡Strengthening the discourse between relevant stakeholders to develop standards, certification processes, and regulations that ensure the safety of hydrogen applications, particularly for hydrogen blending into natural gas pipeline. #greenhydrogen #hydrogensummit Dipesh Pherwani | Anuraag Nallapaneni | Yashaswini Jain | Pawan Mulukutla | Madhav Pai | Utsav Shah | Anindita Bhattacharjee | Dr. Garima Dwivedi (nee Mishra) | Debi Prasad Dash | Dr. Rahul Walawalkar | Ankita Saxena | India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) | Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) | Sachin Kumar | Ravi Verma | Kiran Kumar Alla | Pragya Gupta | Ankur Malyan | Satyasheel Bhardwaj | Dr. Bhaskar Jha | Mudit Jain | Ranjit Gupta | Surbhi Goyal | P R Reddy | Aniruddha Kadvekar | K Premkumar
