Together, we are committed to making a tangible impact on the environment while preserving the extraordinary destinations that African safaris offer.   Through our collaboration, Biggestleaf Travel has taken proactive steps to offset their unavoidable emissions by purchasing carbon credits from us. This includes offsetting the emissions produced by their fleet of transfer vehicles and all staff business flights, demonstrating their dedication to reducing their carbon footprint. For every safari adventure booked, they are offsetting 0.23tCO2 per person per night, ensuring that every aspect of their client's experiences contributes to environmental sustainability.   We applaud Biggestleaf Travel for actively encouraging their clients to choose accommodation establishments and tourism operators that prioritise sustainability. What an inspiring first day at the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) summit Latin America. Seeing first hand the work and progress made by the Colombian government in partnership with USAID is nothing short of amazing. Putting in place legislation, incentives and genuine opportunities for sustainable tourism. They recognise the correlation between nature tourism and nature preservation and demonstrate that tourism can and should be a force for good.
