🔮 What will the future look like? The prototyping method promises speed and out-of-the-box thinking: Virtual reality applications, IT security issues or artificial intelligence. 💪 To drive innovation and secure the Future of Food, the DLG.Prototype.Club promotes collaboration between start-ups and companies. Many applications do not always have to be reinvented. Why not draw on existing knowledge? Start-ups develop potential software solutions for companies in a previously submitted "challenge" within 14 days. 💡 So... the challenge is: How can fresh water no longer be used in milk production? Any ideas? GEA Group 🔎 Event: https://lnkd.in/dQ-Ce26d 🔎 DLG.prototype.Club: https://lnkd.in/dnAEKviF Christopher Armstrong Carola K. 🎉 Congratulations Juliet Bray, Accelerator Manager Bilbao Hub for moderating the panel discussion on Sustainable Food Packaging at the FOOD 4 FUTURE - EXPO FOODTECH and a big thank you to all panellists, great to see our EIT Food Accelerator Network alumnus Bio2Coat Natural Preservation Technology being one of the changemakers leading the discussion. 🌱 📦 Sustainable Food Packaging is one of our mission emphasised themes for the 2024 EIT Food Accelerator Network programme. Our Bilbao Hub will be supporting emerging startups, that put less strain on our planet's resources and keep virgin materials out of circulation in favour of reusable ones, on their tech validation and business acceleration journey. Key focus will be on circular, renewable, recyclable or compostable, smart packing and processing technologies. EIT Food Accelerator Network programme offers purpose-led startups more ways to fuel their impact, grow and achieve their goals, linking those who need technology and innovations, those who are developing it, and those who might finance and scale it. To register your interest for our next cohort: https://lnkd.in/ddX_3fP2
Let’s work together to get rid of plastic in our food packaging! Great visionary innovators are developing solutions that will contribute to achieve this ambitious goal. At EIT Food, we are very proud to support those game-changing startups in our accelerator programmes. A few of them are currently on stage at FOOD 4 FUTURE - EXPO FOODTECH in Bilbao. Thumbs up for Françoise de Valera from Pack2Earth, Farayde Matta Fakhouri from Bio2Coat Natural Preservation Technology and Carmelo Heras from Feltwood, as well as our brilliant colleague Juliet Bray who did a great job at moderating the panel.
