Great news for the clean future of flight: the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded ZeroAvia with a $4.2 Million grant to further develop and validate our electric propulsion systems (EPS). The funding is part of the FAA’s Fueling Aviation’s Sustainable Transition discretionary grant program for Low-Emission Aviation Technology (FAST Tech) and will enable us to expand our leading EPS technology portfolio and accelerate its speed to market. The R&D for this initiative will take place at our Propulsion Center of Excellence in Everett, WA and complement additional R&D on advanced fuel cell systems taking place in the UK. The need to increase renewables to meet the demand for future electric and indeed hydrogen flights to make them truely sustsinable, is going to be massive. #Wind and #solar energy will not be enough...so what should we do? Our non-foosil fuel options are #wave #tidal #storage #geothermal #gravity #fusion #fission and #space....ZeroAvia
Excellent news ….. let’s keep on pioneering and regulating in tandem
Focus on the the electric 😜
Congrats on the funding! You should be proud of your team :) I can’t wait to see what comes from the research funding!
Unlimited power 💪
