How I envision 2017!

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year! :)
Hope you all have had a phenomenal start to 2017 already. As I was listening to one of my recent favorites 'Oh Lord' by Mic Lowry today, I thought to myself as to how I want 2017 to look for me & more importantly what am I willing to commit to in order to bring about the results consistent with my vision. There are many things that I came up with, some of which I decided to share. :)
To start off with, I plan to consciously work strongly on my circle of influence i.e. the top 5 people I wish to spend majority of the time with. By end of the year, I envision myself with a very strong, inspiring and compassionate circle of influence. - "You become the sum total of 5 people you surround yourself with."
Secondly, I plan on some intense reading for the year i.e. reads on 'autobiographies' of some of the legends of the world & ones that facilitate me in mastering various skill sets. I aim to have completed at least 12 books by end of the year. - "Its the books you read that shape your overall personality."
Thirdly, something that I have thought of for a long period but haven't done much about it as yet is 'volunteering for a social cause' i.e. offering time and effort to do something that can benefit lot of people. Its a box I definitely see myself checking this year. - "We make our lives by what we give."
In addition, I also see myself having 'basic' to 'intermediate' skill set in Arabic in 2017.-"With languages, you are at home anywhere."
To sum it up, at the end of everyday of 2017, I want to feel more accomplished, more passionate, more driven, more positive, more inspired than the day before & live up to my potential in true sense of the word. - "Life is not about being the best, but aiming to be the best version of yourself."

7ygood luck with that, one of my goals last year was to surround myself with entrepreneurs, business people and it is really interesting how my outlook has changed and learning enhanced. I am working on a social initiative to help entrepreneurs but still struggling with my reading. Do share your list of books so that I can read them too and maybe discuss if possible.
