Leadership is Art, Management is craft. AI training proves it
Welcome to the First Edition of 5.0 Leadership in the AI Era published by Jorge Zuazola CEO & Founder European Leadership
Strategy and training are essential for success. In the AI-driven era of 2024, strategy and training are essential for success. By developing a clear strategy and equipping yourself with the skills to implement it effectively, you can position your organization for success in the years to come.
Good strategy is part of what leadership is all about i.e strategy is a cognitive ladder which makes people not to understand what Chema Vich or Dirk Zee´s posting do understand like we do i.e.
Everyboby need to come to terms with the need to be trained on both AI and 5.0 leadership, that is why we have prepared the organized index below including the gift of what a leader as a primus inter pares really means.
Our AI and 5.0 Leadership programmes are tailored for everyone whether
- individually, where you can start from as little as 100 Euros
- collectively, where non profit institutions can start from 300 Euros per hour, SMBs 400 Euros per Hour and Multinationals 600 Euros per hour.
Everyone needs training in AI. That is why in this article we give you plenty of information below. However AI is much much much easier than you think. In fact it was published in a newsletter in Europe here last July 2023 and I ignored it. It already told us that the starting point is Microsoft Edge, which now has the excellence of Copilot with Bing, which plugs directly into LinkedIn. I did not do it until September when Bard was available in Europe. But Bard is another game, it is a warehouse of knowledge which will take you to a new level.
#AI trainings available daily starting :
8.30 to 10 am
11.30 to 1 pm
15.30 to 17
19.30 to 21
It all comes down to your ability to prompt, but as you shall see in many videos below, a prompt is not an engineering prompt, a prompt in strategy and leadership is the capacity to ask good questions exactly as Peter Drucker said.

Sunny and I broke it down: Google Brain and DeepMind have merged into Google DeepMind Gemini is the new underlying mode Bard is the chat interface Duet AI is Google Workspace's AI helper Google Labs is where you can test out new products... it goes on and on.
My solution: Consolidate the branding! One name: Bard, a product by Google As Sunny points out, Microsoft has done this well with Copilot. It is indeed Top-Notch 5.0 Leaders the case which is more inspiring. We have of course benchmarked it with AI per the below.
The grammar difference of calling a digital publication Top-Notch Leaders 5.0 or Top-Notch 5.0 Leaders or 5.0 Top-Notch Leaders depends on the meaning and the emphasis you want to convey. Top-Notch Leaders 5.0 implies that the publication is about leaders who are top-notch and that this is the fifth edition or version of the publication. Top-Notch 5.0 Leaders implies that the publication is about a new generation or category of leaders who are called Top-Notch 5.0, as if they have been upgraded or improved. 5.0 Top-Notch Leaders implies that the publication is about leaders who are not only top-notch, but also have a rating of 5.0 out of some scale, such as customer satisfaction or performance. The most correct grammatically would be Top-Notch Leaders 5.0, as it follows the usual order of modifiers in English: quality, size, age, shape, color, origin, material, purpose, and then noun.
The worldwide benchmark of Jorge Zuazola´s quote around the world
ChatGPT add in MS Power Point Office gives us this excellent visual explanation
The below quote by Theodore Roosevelt, “I start with the premise that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers,” aligns with Jorge Zuazola’s assertion that management is a craft and leadership is an art. In this context, management involves skills and techniques applied to organize and direct teams effectively. It’s a profession because it can be learned and mastered through education and experience. On the other hand, leadership transcends these technical aspects; it’s about inspiring others, fostering innovation, and cultivating an environment where team members are empowered to become leaders themselves. This aligns with Roosevelt’s idea that true leadership aims at nurturing more leaders rather than just amassing followers. Jorge Zuazola’s quote, “Management is Craft, it is a profession. Leadership is Art, it is an inspiration,” highlights the difference between management and leadership. Peter Drucker, a renowned management consultant, once said, “Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” This quote emphasizes the importance of leadership in guiding organizations towards success. Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, believed that “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.” This quote highlights the importance of innovation in leadership and how it can help organizations stay ahead of the curve. In conclusion, management and leadership are two distinct concepts that are essential for the success of any organization. While management is a craft that involves skills and techniques, leadership is an art that inspires others and fosters innovation.
Theodore Roosevelt’s quote, “I start with the premise that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers,” aligns with Jorge Zuazola’s assertion that management is a craft and leadership is an art. Peter Drucker and Steve Jobs also had excellent quotes on the dichotomy of management versus leadership, which further emphasizes the importance of both concepts in the business world.
Leadership and Management: Inspiration versus Craft
In the realm of business, two often-intertwined concepts hold immense significance: leadership and management. While they may appear synonymous, they represent distinct approaches to organizational success. Leadership is the art of inspiring and motivating others to achieve shared goals, while management is the craft of organizing and directing teams effectively.
Leadership: The Art of Inspiration
Jorge Zuazola, a renowned leadership expert, eloquently captures the essence of leadership by stating, "Management is Craft, it is a profession. Leadership is Art, it is an inspiration." This quote aptly differentiates between the two, highlighting that while management involves acquiring skills and techniques, leadership transcends these practical aspects.
True leaders possess the innate ability to motivate and inspire their teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. They are not merely taskmasters; they are visionaries who can articulate a compelling purpose and rally their followers towards achieving it. Their presence is not about wielding authority but about empowering others to reach their full potential.
Management: The Craft of Organization
On the other hand, management is a well-defined craft that can be learned and honed through education and experience. It encompasses the practical skills and techniques necessary to organize, direct, and control teams effectively. Effective managers are adept at planning, scheduling, delegating, and problem-solving, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and objectives are met.
While leadership is about inspiring others, management is about aligning individual efforts towards organizational goals. It's about creating a structure that enables teams to function smoothly, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
The Dichotomy of Leadership and Management
Peter Drucker, a renowned management consultant, once said, "Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things." This quote underscores the crucial distinction between the two concepts. While management is about executing tasks effectively, leadership is about setting the direction and ensuring that the organization is moving in the right direction.
Steve Jobs, the visionary co-founder of Apple, believed that "Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower." This quote highlights the transformative power of innovation in leadership. Leaders are not content with maintaining the status quo; they push boundaries, challenge assumptions, and embrace new ideas to propel their organizations to new heights.
The best AI is 5.0 Leadership: Craft and Inspiration
The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the way we live and work. While AI can automate tasks and provide valuable insights, it's the human element that truly drives innovation and success. AI 5.0 leadership is the key to leveraging AI to its full potential and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
2.The Best AI 5.0 Leadership Training in the World
Since September 2023 we have been publishing many articles like this one
where we made very clear that
To fully harness the power of AI and achieve success in 2024, focus on these two crucial steps: 1. Master Microsoft Edge with Copilot and Bing 2. Leverage the Power of Google Chrome with Bard AI and Gemini
In the fast-paced world of today, it is more important than ever to be equipped with the skills and knowledge to navigate the ever-changing landscape of technology. One such skill that is becoming increasingly essential is artificial intelligence (AI) training. AI is transforming the way we work, live, and interact with the world around us, and it is only going to become more pervasive in the years to come.
There are many reasons why everyone should consider taking AI training.
First, AI is a powerful tool that can be used to solve a wide range of problems. From automating tasks to analyzing data to generating creative content, AI can be used to improve efficiency, productivity, and innovation.
Second, AI is becoming increasingly affordable and accessible. There are now a number of AI tools and platforms that are available to businesses and individuals of all sizes. This means that there is no excuse not to learn about AI and start using it to your advantage.
Third, AI is essential for staying competitive in today's market. Businesses that are not using AI are at a disadvantage. They are missing out on opportunities to improve their processes, products, and services.
Time to Start with AI: Five Percent of the Year Gone
The year 2024 is already flying by. By the end of this week, we will be well above the halfway through January. This means that 5.46% of the year is already gone this week.
When it comes to time management, many people focus on the year, the month, and the day as their units of measurement. However, these units of measurement are no longer accurate. Instead, we should be focusing on the week, the hour, and the minute.
Why?
Because the world is changing faster than ever before. In fact, it is estimated that the pace of change is doubling every 17 months. This means that what worked in the past will not work in the future.
In order to succeed in a rapidly changing world, we need to be able to adapt quickly. And the best way to do that is to break down our goals into smaller, more manageable tasks.
This is where AI can be a powerful tool. AI can help us automate repetitive tasks, free up our time, and focus on more strategic and creative endeavors.
Take the first step towards becoming a visionary leader in the 5.0 era by enrolling in European Leadership's AI-powered Leadership 5.0 training program. With this exclusive new year offer, you can gain invaluable insights and skills for just 100 Euros, which already includes a 50% discount.
AI is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide variety of technologies
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the theory and development of computer systems capable of performing tasks that historically required human intelligence, such as recognizing speech, making decisions, or solving problems. AI is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide variety of technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) . Although the term is commonly used to describe a range of different technologies in use today, many disagree on whether these actually constitute artificial intelligence. Instead, some argue that much of the technology used in the real world today actually constitutes highly advanced machine learning that is simply a first step towards true artificial intelligence, or “general artificial intelligence” (GAI)
AI is used in a wide range of applications, such as language translation, medical diagnosis, and chatbots . It can mimic the problem-solving and decision-making capabilities of the human mind, and has different types, such as weak AI, strong AI, and deep learning . AI is rapidly evolving, and we can expect to see even more innovative applications emerge in the future
Generative AI and Machine Learning are both subsets of Artificial Intelligence
Generative AI and Machine Learning are both subsets of Artificial Intelligence, but they differ in their core functionality. Machine Learning is a technique that enables machines to learn from data and improve their performance over time. It uses algorithms to analyze large amounts of data, learn from the insights, and then make informed decisions. In contrast, Generative AI is a specialized branch of Machine Learning that focuses on creating new data, such as images, text, or even music. It uses algorithms to generate new content from existing data, such as images, video, music, speech, text, software code, and product designs.
In summary, Machine Learning is about learning from data, while Generative AI is about creating new data. Machine Learning is used in a wide range of applications, such as language translation, medical diagnosis, and chatbots. Generative AI, on the other hand, is used in applications such as content generation, art creation, and fashion design 4 . Both Machine Learning and Generative AI are rapidly evolving fields that have numerous applications across various industries. As the field continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more innovative applications emerge in the future.
Examples of Generative AI
Generative AI is a rapidly evolving field that has numerous applications across various industries. Here are some examples of Generative AI:
Content Generation: Generative AI can be used to generate new content from existing data, such as images, video, music, speech, text, software code, and product designs .
Language Translation: Generative AI can be used to translate text from one language to another.
Art Creation: Generative AI can be used to create new artwork, such as paintings, drawings, and sculptures.
Data Augmentation: Generative AI can be used to augment data sets by generating new data points that are similar to existing ones.
Chatbots: Generative AI can be used to create chatbots that can converse with humans in natural language .
Medical Diagnosis: Generative AI can be used to diagnose medical conditions by analyzing medical images and other data.
Music Composition: Generative AI can be used to compose new music by analyzing existing music and creating new pieces that are similar in style .
Fashion Design: Generative AI can be used to design new fashion items, such as clothing and accessories .
These are just a few examples of the many ways in which Generative AI is being used today. As the field continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more innovative applications emerge in the future.
Microsoft Copilot with Bing is Your Daily Companion Generative AI
Microsoft Copilot with Bing is indeed a Generative AI that can be used as a daily companion. It is an AI-powered copilot for the web that offers personalized recommendations and task automation across services . It builds on existing generative AI foundations like GitHub Copilot for coding and Bing Chat for search . Copilot in Bing uses advanced technologies from Microsoft and OpenAI, including GPT-4, a cutting-edge large language model (LLM), and DALL-E, a deep learning model to generate digital images from natural language descriptions, both from OpenAI .
Copilot in Bing’s intended uses are to connect users with relevant search results, review results from across the web to find and summarize answers users are looking for, help users refine their research to get answers with a chat experience, and spark creativity by helping users create content . Copilot in Bing’s generative AI experiences support the goal of being an AI-powered copilot for the web. For example, when users submit a search query on Copilot in Bing, the Bing system processes the query, conducts one or more web searches, and uses the top web search results to generate a summary of the information to present to users.
In conclusion, Microsoft Copilot with Bing is a Generative AI that can be used as a daily companion. It uses advanced technologies from Microsoft and OpenAI, including GPT-4 and DALL-E, to generate digital content from natural language descriptions. Copilot in Bing’s intended uses are to connect users with relevant search results, review results from across the web to find and summarize answers users are looking for, help users refine their research to get answers with a chat experience, and spark creativity by helping users create content.

Microsoft is the owner of Linkedin and the quality of these videos speak by themselves
Regarding your point about strategic thinking, it’s important to note that strategy often involves a series of steps or a “ladder” as you mentioned. Each rung of the ladder could represent a different stage of the strategic process, such as setting goals, gathering information, generating options, evaluating options, making a decision, and reviewing the decision. As an AI, I can assist users in each of these stages by providing relevant information, generating ideas, evaluating options based on available data, and more. However, the final decision always rests with the user. I’m here to assist, not to make decisions for the user. I hope this helps!
It does help because last summer this British Expert already said in his articles and videos (see below) that the right thing to do is simply to have the Microsoft Edge Browser open and use the official Copilot with Bing Chat AI of Microsoft as you can see here Using AI within Edge browser in LinkedIn
why do people do not do it ?
Lack of understanding of what strategy is as we explain in the finish off of this article. Another American expert, also a nice chap like the above British, said the same a month after the above video in his LinkedIn newsletter "there is far too much 2023 summer talk and very little strategy"
These videos will help you to understand the importance of training

4. 5.0 LEADERSHIP GIFT: A LEADER IS A PRIMUS INTER PARES
There still is a great abuse with the term leader. All the inputs around Leadership during the last 40 years, lacked substance thus creating hype that had no practical value. Primus inter pares is a Latin phrase meaning first among equals. It is typically used as an honorary title for someone who is formally equal to other members of their group but is accorded unofficial respect, traditionally owing to their seniority in office.
This lack of practical value was because it was widely missed that leadership is not an endowed consequence of positionship, just as singing ability is not an endowed consequence of having a voice. The skills that people see in a leader are not always quantifiable or immediately recognizable but they know when they see it and they know when it is missing.
But – nowadays - being just a manager, is far from enough!
Many companies have been treating humans during the last 40 years as “resources”. They will have to go again through the experience of treating humans as creators and innovators, because true leading means creating
➢ FUTURE,
➢ CONFIDENCE AND
➢ BELIEF IN IT.
The 'Primus Inter Pares' approach to leadership – first among equals – offers us a new way of managing and leading in the 21st century. While being aware of the company’s most important objective: its mission for its customers, as well as the vision where the company has to be in the future the 5.0 leader, is able to achieve a shared vision with his/her stakeholders and meets the following minimum requirements:
1)The 5.0 Leader knows that a real leader is neither charismatic nor born. A leader is not born, because he/she is made; and when he/she ceases to make himself a leader, he/she has ceased to be one. The "born leader" is precisely what we do not need anymore; because he/she is a visceral and egomaniac one.
We have tendencies to:
1. Micro-Management: In an attempt to display control or exert influence, titled leaders often direct details that are better handled by those closest to the environment.
2. Challenge: Titled leaders frequently challenge or second-guess the decisions of their team. This is particularly common when we are in the presence of the titled leader’s peer group and they feel threatened or lack confidence. The old, hierarchical structure supported the thinking that those in higher managerial positions were superior, more knowledgeable, of higher intelligence, and therefore, more valuable to the organisation. Those in lower positions were deemed to be inferior, mere cogs in a wheel, and of less worth. While this approach holds a management structure in place, it does nothing to enhance employee satisfaction, enjoyment in the role or longevity in the workplace.
3. Internal Politics: Whether for personal benefit or believing to have the best interests of the team at heart, titled leaders may make trade-offs with their peers. We sometimes think the team members closest to the solution don’t understand how things “really work”. In the past, there has been a definitive desire among managers to feel as though they have to control their employees to keep them working productively. This belief holds people in tight boxes, limits their creativity and asks of them little more than the job requires. With this form of control, also comes a threat: perform, or suffer the consequences. This view gives managers fuel that supports the atmosphere of power at the top
When we practice these tactics, we fail to support the right person as first among equals. As a result, we fail to optimize our own team, results and leadership. In short, we are not serving the organization first. So the next time you are tempted to micro-manage, challenge or politic, stop. Identify who is Primus-Inter-Pares and empower them? Who is First Among Equals in the situation and therefore, best suited to lead, for the moment? Serve your organization by supporting the first among equals
2) The 5.0 Leader as leader, demands more of him/herself, than others expect of him/her: he/she must be an example!. All his/her self-training, on top of a very satisfactory completion of his/her duties, evidences his/her exemplay role
3) The 5.0 Leader has the moral strength - as a leader - to be tough and demanding with his/her team mates, because he/she believes more in them, than they do in themselves. Affection and love are demanding. Always! - If not they are gone!
4) A leader has a heart and love for each person of his/her team and needs to know the expectations each one has of the leader. If the leader cannot deliver, he/she says it clearly and transparently. As a leader, he/she offers friendship, not privileges. How The 5.0 Leader interacts with his/her colleagues, his/her associates (Europe/USA) and his/her 2.0 Community (European Leadership/American Leadership) are indeed first-hand examples of this 4th leadership skill
5) A leader does not tolerate the reign of fear in his/her team. He/She promotes courage and initiative of all individuals to take risks, make mistakes, in order to leave the limits of his/her comfort zone everyday. He/She makes them grow, overcoming fear into challenge. The 5.0 Leader is capable of performing all these actions worldwide to the extent the team´s performance is always enhancing
6) The 5.0 Leader understands a leader is ahead, not “above”. He/She expects his/her peers to disagree openly. his/her communication style is wide open with both colleagues and superiors thereby earning the respect of both. Primus Inter Pares offers a new way of leading in the 21st century. With this approach, employees are seen as equals, regardless of their actual position or status. There is, of course, someone who has the role of ultimate decision maker, but with this mindset, the opinions and specific talents of each individual are valued and recognised. Moreover, the leader knows his part is to support the ultimate success of each member of the team
7) The 5.0 Leader sticks to the principle that the leader is a "primus inter pares" humbly working without whims and teaming up with colleagues. Shares sadness and joys, feasts and games with both his/her team and his/her associates. There is no fixed formula for the ideal CEO. WE think however that one needs to be a ‘First Among Equals’. One rule of management is to always hire people who are better than you are at what they do. That also means you can’t be a leader who thinks he is better than everybody else. If that would be the case you would have hired the wrong people
’8) A leader hires people who are better than he/she is, and gives them opportunities to prove it. The 5.0 Leader does not micromanage but always relies on his/her team of experts both locally and internationally. The 'Primus Inter Pares' approach to leadership – first among equals – offers us a new way of managing and leading in the 21st century. With this approach all employees are seen as equals, regardless of their position or status. There is, of course, someone who has the role of ultimate decision maker, but with this approach, the opinions and individual talents are all valued and recognized. A leader working on the principles of equality would allow employees to have flexibility within their role and the business structure. There would be recognition that with more freedom to shape their role, employees would naturally come into alignment with their innate talents and gifts leading to optimum performance. This also leads to people feeling recognised, as well as generating motivation within the workplace
9) A leader does not try to motivate others, because he/she knows that it is neither possible nor desirable. The 5.0 Leader sticks to Great Executives’ principle of leading by example i.e. he/she knows his/ her colleagues will follow suit when he/she acts with a clear direction. Primus inter pares, Latin for “first among equals” is a great way for leaders to frame their thinking around specific projects, tasks and decisions. The concept is simple: focus less on traditional hierarchy or formal titles and more on who is best suited to lead, given the immediate need. Managers who embrace ‘first among equals’ do not see themselves as superior. They recognise that while they have an final decision-making role to perform, this does not inherently make them a superior person. These managers drop the ego tendency of seeing themselves as “better than” and lead from a place of awareness that we all have different functions to perform, diverse opinions to add, and, within us, a potential to fulfill. With this willingness to see people as co-workers, it becomes easy to hire those who are more talented, more experienced and more knowledgeable. This, in turn, provides enormous dividends for the business and enables the manager to engage the very best
10) Last but not least, and perhaps more importantly, a leader creates the proper context for each person of his/her team, through which each one can motivate himself with challenges worthy of his/her pride. The 5.0 Leader applies by the book the principle that Leadership is forward- oriented towards a better future to progress and progress is the realization of the impossible as “I am possible”. Making dreams come true is both a poetic and accurate definition of progress. To lead in this way requires that leaders have a strong sense of their inherent worth and the value they add to the business and the individuals that are part of it. With this in place, they are not threatened by the expertise, position or authority of others. This attitude is a magnet for high-level employees who see such a workplace as an opportunity for their empowerment and a place to make a difference. This leads to a deep commitment to the business and its vision. In our current age of information overload and 24-hour technology, with the millennial generation filling many of the roles within an organisation, this enlightened attitude to leadership is the way forward for ultimate business success.
To achieve those goals and dreams a 5.0 Strategy is of paramount importance
