PON GLOBAL MILAN
On 14-16 November I participated at PON GLOBAL Milan, a course organized by Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School in their innovative “itinerant” format, thus making one of their most popular programs accessible in many cities around the world.
After having participated in a similar program a few months ago at the Harvard Cambridge campus, I had some trepidation that a new format may not have met my high expectations. I’m pleased to say that my fears were completely unfounded, and the program in Milan was just as impressive as the one in Massachusetts.
Samuel Dinnar, our onsite PON instructor in Milan, was the perfect bridge between the participants and the Harvard faculty who were present in Milan by video. The videos had obviously been extremely well prepared and everything worked like a charm.
The choice of Luiss’ modern Milan hub could not have been better. Luiss, along with the ADR Center, were the event partners and key in its success.
Last but not least, I found myself in a group that was not only very pleasant but also great in simulations of negotiation. Among us, there were seven AIADC members (Associazione Italiana Professionisti Collaborativi), including myself, united in the belief that every opportunity to learn must be taken, because there’s always room for improvement.
