Panelists, including Samsung Ads India's Director of Product Vivek Mishra, at the Future of Video Conference

April was a big month for events in India, including the annual Future of Video India conference, hosted by the Asia Video Industry Association (AVIA). This year, the event's focus was on India's ever-changing media landscape and how the industry can continue to generate revenue in light of escalating costs, regulatory changes, and new technologies like AI/AR being adopted by more and more media companies.

Samsung Ads India's Director of Product Vivek Mishra was a guest panelist at the event, discussing the monetisation of streaming platforms and what revenue streams can be leveraged to generate greater profitability. Thanks to all the other panelists and everyone involved for making it such an enjoyable event. It was great to have so many insightful discussions on streaming and in particular the excitement and interest around CTV and FAST becoming more prominent within this space. Exciting things to come!

The new HOT ONES channel exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, with 13 seasons of spicy celebrity interviews.

Too hot to handle! One of the most anticipated channel launches for Samsung TV Plus Australia and New Zealand was The Hot Ones channel; the popular interview show with hot questions and even hotter wings.

Since its creation in 2015, Hot Ones, hosted by Sean Evans has become a YouTube sensation. Partly, because of the viral moments it's been able to create of various celebrities tearing up over spicy wings but also because of its brand partnerships. Over the years Hot Ones has partnered with notable brands like Pringles and Shake Shack, who've created limited-edition products to align with the show. These viral collaborations have helped grow a cult following into a wider and loyal fan base and with the new launch of its 24/7 channel on Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Ads hopes to make these branding partnerships more accessible to the Australian and New Zealand market.
